Quote from tristancliffe :Just make something that will pull the trigger on the thing with the rocket. Like a counterbalance. It's really hard until you see what you've got to do, then you'll realise it's one of the easiest levels

I've done that but i cant get the armadillo up 2 the warp... any idea?

Thanks 4 reply btw.

Quote from Scawen :Hello Racers!

Announcing Patch U : A new official patch for S2 ALPHA

We are very pleased with the reaction to the S and T versions.
Various fixes and improvements have been done in the week since
version S was released. Thanks to all who tested and commented
on the test patches. Version U is quite an improvement and we expect
this to be the stable version for some time while we have a little
break then get on with more S2 work, on the way to S2 final.

Version U is fully compatible with versions S and T.

Changes since version S :

Race penalty statistics now sent to LFS World
Changed format of /track host startup command
Removed /config and /reversed startup commands
Some small frame rate optimisations in car draw
Hosts can now display a 200 character welcome message
Added a new command /tracks to specify allowed tracks
OutGauge system for external dashboards (see InSim.txt)
FOX / FO8 / BF1 all have their own dashboard colour slider
Translations and docs folder updated with new translations
Throttle blip on downshift now allowed again with manual clutch
Suspension stronger before it bends but then bends more quickly

FIX : LFS could crash sometimes when leaving a multiplayer game
FIX : Croatian and Serbian should always be correctly selected
FIX : Could view other racers ARB and Brake Balance online
FIX : LFS crash when starting up with Greek or Norwegian
FIX : Aston Grand Touring / North showed up as AS6 / AS7
FIX : Aston lessons had gone wrong with changed objects
FIX : Downloading Skin message was partially off screen

Quote from pekkaw :I think GT Legends has better traction feel or somehow it has much more "feel" of mass. However LFS has much more variety of cars and has much better online games...And LFS has much more feel of speed in racing

Little offtopic but GT Legends has beatiful engine sounds and beatiful classic cars (copy them somehow ) , what can I say.. I love old cars
Maybe LFS has classic too someday and gravel tracks :rally_dri

But as said before, LFS is absolutely going into right direction. Better not to change too many things at sametime to keep quality of game. Two thumbs up to devs

I agree, but at the same time, GT Legends has gone commercial whereas no way near as many people know LFS as they do GT Legends. So it has to be better...

Quote from zeugnimod :If you already had Patch S installed and just want to upgrade to Patch T, you dont have to unlock it again. It works without.

I swear patch Q was the latest patch out before T? Or are you talking about somebody who didn't get the Q update?

Quote from thisnameistaken :When S2 came out we had the same situation, ie: People turning up in the forums babbling on about how they had more skill than everybody else and how "noobs" should stay out of the FO8. I doubt very much that these people are any safer than anybody else. They are probably the same people who spam BLUE FLAGz0Rz!! messages at every opportunity and then blame the guy they hit while trying to lap him in the middle of a chicane.

To the guy who made the comment about how much skill it takes to race at the oval: Try doing something else for a change so you get some perspective. Oh, and "Hahahahahahaha"

I agree! I was once a "noob" and still am quite a bit. I admit, also, at first i couldn't handle the FO8 but soon, wit a bit of practice and the ourchase of S1 and S2... I got the hang of it. Practice makes perfect... So they say

Quote from BigDave2967 :This is how BF1 racing should be.

Take a look at this replay (BF1 STYLE) and look at the first and second driver *me* nothing but pace racing, times nearly the same, and not a driver to spoil it. I most certainly enjoyed that race.

Not like this in blackwood. (BF1 TWITS)

Just shows how bad it can be, at the beginning, expecially with lots of newbies on board.

Isn't this a bit... Well... Stereotypical???

Quote from eRaptor :I'm asking this because I have read about this on the manual, and it says that the F9 shows tire temps and wear, but when it is explaned later on the manual, there is a labelled image that shows the F9 screen and everything is related to temperatures, even the color on the inside...
It says Blue for cold inside temp, and green for adequate inside temp!
I thought when the tires got "green" they were worn... and I felt like it on the car's behavior... (but the manual says adequate...)
But then again, If I select changing the tires if they are more than 30% worn, on the pit menu, and I enter the pits with a "green" tire, it isn't changed... That makes me think that the tire isn't worn really, even when I know the car actually slides, and loses control with the tires like that...

Can someone explain me this?!

(sorry about my bad english)

I, personally, like to use the F9 tyre wear indicator and it seems good enough... It's better than nothing!

Quote from Thorvertonian :If the light was constantly on when Traction control was on, how would you know when it was working???

The light is there to inidcate you have manual overide on

When TC is active, you may sometimes, like in any real car with TC, get the light flashing on... this is just to let you know that you are losing traction.

When TC is off, the blue light is permanent, therefore warning you that TC is off...
