Personally, for what your after i think a Radeon 9600pro or 9700pro would be pretty much perfect for your needs. You could stretch to a 9800pro, but i honestly dont think you will need to.

In my opinion, if you start introducing all these driver assists, then LFS will be no different a game to others, its part of what keeps LFS unique, and its nice to see drivers having to use skill rather than assists to drive all the time.
Its only a throttle and brake, and as long as you control your pedals you dont realy need ABS etc. As for keyboard users, its a sim, and if you can set fast lap times on a keyboard (TOCA style) then it loses the sim factor.
I know real racers use TC, ABS and all the rest, but its so muh more fun having to drive without all that rubbish.

I think its under misc in the options, its called the virtual mirror.
Right foot braking to be honest, feels much better.

Looks like the memory on your GFX card is borked. Make sure your card isnt overheating and you have decent airflow in your case. If you aint updated your GFX drivers do that, and maybe try updating your DirectX drivers.
If not, i hope the card is still under warranty and it will need replacing.

Use windows movie creator to resave it, and it usually drops to around 15mb.
Just run winamp in the background? OK yeah, it takes up CPU, but only about 3 or 4%. Saves you having to recode it all, which if your like me and have quite a lot of music it could take ages.
Give the XR GT Turbo it 6th gear back
I dont know why, but that car was much nicer to drive and felt much less strangled back when it had 6 gears (back in the old old old demo), and i think it would be nice to have them back.

Ive got a 2800 sempron and it blows, dont knwo whether the 3100 si any better.
I cant help you out with the song as i dont have a clue, but that is one of the coolest videos i have ever seen.
