Just watched the video through and there are a few things that are probably doing this.

1. It looks like a very skittish setup, try a differnt setup that should eb more stable

2. You need to be a little more smooth with your wheel, your very jerky on the wheel, which would make the back end step out

3. Dont stab the throttle, be a lot smoother with the throttle and accelerate smoothly out of the corner rather than just putting your foot down

You seem to be OK with the lines you are taking on the track, its just your too rough on the car at the minute.

Quote from BlueFlame :
Aussie V8s, you got ToCA racedriver for that

Yeah, but TOCA is produced by codemasters, and they couldnt make a decent version of pong.

The RA only runs on road tyres, so it is pretty quick, but cornering is not that fast in it, maybe your trying to go round corners too quickly?

Turn your AF/AA up to maximum, and make sure you have allk the textures and draw distances in LFS set to maximum.

Nah, tires are nto meant to last that long for drifting, it just means you need to pit every couple of laps.

Both demos are crap, no feel in the cars or anything, you can throw a car into a corner with no drama at all.

Save your bandwidth and dont even bother.

Not surprised ot be honest, McLaren were so much faster in the last season, they just didnt have the reliability. Could be interesting if Kimi stays there, Kimi and Fernando should be a pretty dominant team.

I would like to see it, but i alwasy race in the dry anyways, so its no big deal for me.

Only problem with that atledreier is that everything seems crap compared to LFS now.

Personally i would go for the 3200+ if you can find one, they have a 400 FSB, which will leave you the option in the future to upgrade to 400 FSB RAM if you so wish, whereas the 3000+ is 333 FSB, so only 400 FSB RAM wouldnt be used to its maximum potential.

I get this too occasionally, its very annoying and seems only related to LFS. I know its not my CPU as it maxes out at about 60 degrees, and my 6800 can handle half life 2 without overheating, so i think it will handle LFS fine.

Just out of curiosity,is this only happening in Nvidia cards, or is it on ATi too? Could be a driver related problem.

Its a very good idea indeed, but i would rather the devs worked on other problems personally.

Althoguh i would liek to see junior admin being able to change tracks.

If its the BFG you have then i have heard complaints for the stock heatsink being quite ineffective since they started using their own design, which could be causing more heat in your case.

Make sure you get a good seal between the heatsink and the cpu. Get a tube of Arctic Silver paste and apply some to your current heatsink and try it again, that should lower your temps slightly. A tube does loads of heatsink changes. Obviously make sure the heatsink and cpu are clean before reapplying new paste.

I wouldnt recommend hovering, just give it a good blow (*grins*) or go and buy a can of compressed air.

Another thing to consider is airflow in your PC, do you have something drawing hot air out, if not invest in a exhaust fan, there only a few pounds and are really effective.

Its a good idea, but the cars generally have no feel or are just stupidly modelled. Most of the cars wont turn, and to be honest last time i looked the track lineup wasnt that impressive.

I tried it ages ago and gave up, then tried it again a year later, and gave up again. I really want to like it, but unless the cars get some feel in them its not going to work.

Nah, i would much prefer a twisty track which requires skill to one that is bumpy and sheer dangerous. Westhill, in my opinion is the most boring track in the game, its not that it produces bad races, its that its boring. Tracks like south city or aston cadet produce amazing close racing, whereas westhill doesnt.

He is kind of right, the sounds are far better on games like GTR, as are the graphics. The main thing that gets me though is the high nose on the formula cars, its a known bug, and one that has been in the game ages. I hate using the high nose as there is no feel in the car, but to be competitive you have to use it.

I really enjoy the tracks, and dont feel we need more as such, but a few other non turbo cars would be nice.

Also, Live For Speed really is an amazing game, but a bit more marketing would be good to draw a new crowd. It not only gives an advantage by producing more cash for the devs, but it also give more people for us to race with.

Yep its possible, i used to do it back in the demo, so if anything it should be better than it used to be.
