I'm nursing a semi looking at the front view, but styling wise it seems a tad unbalanced as it's got all the trim on the front but nothing at the back. One of those little E46 M spoilers (the ones like the little Gurney Flaps) would help I think.

Isn't the prize a little strange as everyone must have S2 to drive at KY1 anyway?

Assuming their pace is real then they really need to rack up the points early doors as the other teams, especially the biggies, will be developing all the time and with such new regulations we could see big changes in fortunes as teams make big strides, or go completely the wrong way on development.

From what I can glean:

All practice and qualifying live on Eurosport

125s and 250s live

MotoGP will be shown directly after BBC show finishes, so for normal 1pm race we're looking at 2.15pm ish

Toby and Jules are back on board. They will commentate on most races from UK, but they've done that before and no one noticed. Randy is not going to be involved.

Excellent - I'm avoiding the BBC.
MotoGP is back on British Eurosport

If Toby, Jules and Randy stay with it I am seriously considering going for the delayed MotoGP coverage. 125 and 250 is a given.

I guess you have to expect this sort of thing in pickup races. I tend to avoid all such servers. In league racing things are much more controlled and better so I just leave all my racing for that.

Hi Kristjan! How are you? New team?

This is a waste of time. You have two variables in this experiment - the fuel and your driving. Unless you do excactly the same route in the same conditions at the same speed etc etc then it's pointless, especially having so little data make comparison.

Agree with Forbin. Also when you start restricting the FO8 gear changes become a tad problematic.

It's a terrific car, best in LFS and I've some of my most enjoyable races in it - it is definitely a league car rather than for pickup racing.

Great site - I've used this for a long time and recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in leagues.

Not very realistic to run a race on a track that includes its own access roads.

I say run the reserve shoot out as planned. League participation tends to drop off through a season so it will not be worth radically reworking points systems.

Could still run 2 servers though. The reserve drivers who fail in the shoot out could run a race meeting and the winner is put straight into the main event of the next round (no shootout for him/her). Once the number of reserves drops this can be discarded.

Just have patience young ones. When you are double the age of 17 then things become much easier. I bought a car this week. Homeowner? Tick. Job? Tick. Salary? Pretty good, thanks. I can borrow as much as I want.

Oh insurance gets better too. 60% no claims. Pay monthly, no worries.

Building a credit history is one of the best things about growing old.

I'm not so sure. Engines are much of a muchness these days (especially when compared to the 80s or 90s). He may have just bought an instant front runner - no one can really tell until they hit the track for the first race.

If he is that rich then I imagine he is smart enough to let F1 people run the team and not stick his own oar in.

Okay, tried the new demo. I am now intrigued. Severe lack of content though in the full package.

A few Beamer fans on here. Can I just quickly ask what we think of the E46 330d M-Sport? Found one at my local garage with 30k on the clock for 10 grand and it would be ideal I think for my driving holiday next year as we are going from UK to Belgium for F1 then Rimini the following Sunday for MotoGP.

Any opinions welcome. Enjoyed the test drive, but that was all twisty B-roads, not motorway.

Oh, my top 5 (own experience only):

1) Ford Sierra RS Cosworth
2) Mini (old)
3) all other cars I have owned are crap - Nissan Sunny, Ford Escort 1.3, Vauxhall Astra 1.7D, Peugeot 306 Turbo 1.9D
