Round 2 of 6 :: December 19th, 2015

Track Layout: Westhill National reversed [WE1r]
Car(s) used: Formula XR [FOX]

Qualifying: 15 minutes
Race: 51 laps

Qualifying (18:00 UTC)

After we had a special format for Round 1, we have from now on, for every further race, a 15 minute Qualifying session preceeding the race. Each and every driver may drive as many laps as he/she likes within this 15 minute window. A driver use Shift-S/-P anytime he likes and as often as he wishes.

Race (18:20 UTC) for 6x points

The starting line-up for the rae is based on the results of the qualifying session.
There will be no mandatory pit stops in this race. Should you need to do a pitstop, please respect the yellow pit lane exit blend line, otherwise you will be penelised with a drive-through penalty. Should you need a rejoin after a disconnect or a severe accident, you may do so and will be given back all but one of your laps.

Apart from the question how a piece of software can be alive, yes there are events, mostly European based (Saturday there is an 8 hour race e.g. and events are kept track in the league calender or on Facebook (#LeagueUpdate)) and some public servers, but indeed activity has drastically decreased in comparison to five years ago.

Quote :5. Any team which wishes to make changes to its registration must do so via the registration thread. To do this, a team member must make a post stating exactly what should be changed (team name, class, car or drivers).

Well Timo, I made some mistakes noone can deny. Plus blaming LFS on stuff wich actually have been known before is too easy. Anyways, I think I can take away some things from it and look into improving them for the future Wink
And I can also agree with troy pretty easily.

Sadly only four teams have confirmed and so I have to cancel the round. I still want to thank you.

I will evaluate changes and the chance for an OEC two.

Anyways I hope to see many of you at the CityLiga Christmas Special in two weeks.

The Zaabis Team Shall be Latvia 1 (LV1), the PromiLe team shall be Latvia 2 (LV2).

@ woidviadla: you need a three latter code. Timo suggested earlier DAS when we were on the Server.

Quote from Timo1992 :Unfortunately there aren't any germans left, may I team up together with woidviadla or other austrians or swiss people for example?

I mean it's not that much of a difference, same language and so Tongue

Quote from woidviadla :(There are no more austrian's yet, but maybe some will read that, and are interested in - PM to me. Or i can join in german team, if it's available.)

Maybe you take a look at the CL-Forum there are a few Austrians (also a Swiss with whom an D-A-CH) would be thinkable.

Quote from TFalke55 :If only one driver of a nation posted in the drivers gathering, drivers from geographic regions, i.e. neighboring nations, may team up. Example: one driver from each Sweden, Norway and Denmark signs up, these drivers may team up to form a team Scandinavia.

Wink

EDIT: Currently (only) 13 racers showed their interest... please also spread the news.

Quote from Gutholz :I did not understand the "tourist trophy."
It is autocross, so first I thought there is layout on track. Like this:

Or is the "penalty times for hitting objects" just to to prevent flying tirebarriers in chicane, from trying to cut?

The time penalty for hitting objects is a default setting, that cannot be changed in the mode. It has the sideeffect though, that this should prevent flying tyres to a certain degree.
Essencially it is a time trail, with your competitors being on track aswell. There is no layout in place, only an autocross starting point at the end of pitlane.
