let's risk a second season. The format will be modified (*cough* more mainstream *cough*) but details will be released soon. So lets first release the race dates in this second season.
6 Mar 2016 - 3 hours of Rockingham ISSC
3 Apr 2016 - 250 Miles of Blackwood Grand Prix reversed
1 May 2016 - 3 hours of South City Town Course reversed
29 May 2016 - 3 hours of Westhill International
26 Jun 2016 - 3 hours of Kyoto International reversed
All races will start at 17:00 UTC respectively 16:00 UTC. Qualifying will most likely see a week of open track from Saturday to Saturday prior to the race.
Traditionally oval races are dealt with a single-car qualifying. However NASCAR used an open format last season, so I think we can live with one for this race aswell: Each and every driver may drive as many laps as he/she likes within the 15 minute window. A driver use Shift-S/-P anytime he likes and as often as he wishes.
Race (18:20 UTC) for 6x points
The starting line-up for the rae is based on the results of the qualifying session. The race itself is started by a standing start on the regular starting line-up. There will be no safety car periodes or things like that, so be careful, a mistake probably ruins your race. Also, the race probably will be a bit shorter then the others, but still will give the regular amount of points.
Welcome to 2016. The qualifying format does not change. There will be a 15 minute session open for everyone. The grid is enhanced to 26 grid spots. The layout for qualifying will not feature grid spots for regular pitstops, so you have to use Shift-S/-P.
Race 1 (18:20 UTC), Race 2 (19:00 UTC)
For the race the attatched layout with 26 grid spots will be used. Due to the short start-finish-straight, the starting grid is tightly packed (7m to the car in-front/behind, 6m to the car to the right), so be very careful at the start! 5 pit slots are available for repairs during the race. There is no speedlimit, but in your own interest, the pitlane is narrow! Both races are 47 laps long.
The season final is on Febuary 20th, 2016. So far, the season schedule only states 'GTR'. Let's make it more precise - it will either be GT1 or GT2. In New Dimension Racing's GT World Series the balancing was in GT1 27kg for FZR and in GT2 21% for FZR, 24% for FXR and 25% for XRR. Expect the final restrictions to be simiar, but not necessarily the same.
