Can do but maybe we also go private next time, we briefly discussed on the server what to do since there where quite a few random people with not much clue on how to handle a car, problem is you need everybody on your friendslist if you do a private server. Shame the system isn't better would be nice to be able to open passworded servers.
Some pictures, I only remembered that I should maybe save some replays at the end of the day so it was getting empty already, earlier we had full house (not too many lfs'ers sadly)
As mentioned, we'll be doing that GT5 event today, if we got a nice turnout we could think about doing that more often maybe?
Will turn on my server around half an hour before 18 UTC if anyone wants to do some random driving around before we start. Will be posting the necessary infos here when I got it online.
I do need to change the brakebalance for pretty much every car I drive, usually going to around 3 front 4 rear on RWD cars, sometimes a little lower depending on how back heavy it is. I do think the FF got better, some cars still drive like I'm skating but some others I start to enjoy a lot more, could be placebo I didn't play it for a long time.
Wednesday 06.30 PM BST that is I would imagine luke? Maybe make it a round number 18 UTC (19 BST, 20 CEST) so people can easily remember it. I would certainly be up for it maybe try and do a first one comming Wednesday? As mentioned got stable net plus 5mbit upload, that should be enough for 16 people.
So, there must be some more LFS'ers still interested in playing GT5 every now and then, what about some biweekly get together maybe on Wednesdays? Do some shuffle racing or whatever, I should have enough bandwidth for a full Server if needed.
Finally moved the PS3 out of the living room because of the update and it does indeed feel like a brand new game I'm playing, it is still no lfs of course but I can now push without fishtailing all over the place. Even caught myself smiling every now and then, if your PS3 is gathering dust somewhere it is worth trying it again.
Basically every track with long enough straights, AS4/5/6(r) some of the open config astons and KY2(r) probably. I don't think it is working anywhere else unless you do it with ballast per track.
I does show up for me in the volume mixer but only once it actually did output some sound. That probably doesn't help but it seems to be a problem on your end?
Personally I don't like the freebie attitude that we seem to get from demo racers these days exactly because of giveaways like this, LFS is not very expensive as it is and the demo side is practically unlimited (aside from the content of course). Yes it's nice that you guys feel generous but you can clearly see the influx of cheap demo racers expecting free licenses every time we have giveaways like these and I'm not sure if thats a good thing.
Last 20 minutes, didn't list it in purpose I rather not have it spread all over the net. Muxed with radiolemans comms, includes the smoking merc plus the mess in the end.
Don't forget Moto2! I tend to look forward to that a lot more then MotoGP these days, and not just because there's a Swiss going for race wins. Also some great racing in WSBK at Donington last weekend, loved every bit of it.
I do think that arm pump problem is really getting to him, he is complaining about it a lot and I would imagine that the fun in racing a motorbike is gone when you're constantly in pain trying to keep the beast on the track. As you said already I can see him comming back once he feels fit and fully recovered.
The forum is constantly trying to tell me that I've got an unread PM in my inbox but there is none if I check it.
I've got email notifications on PM's so I can see that I indeed received a PM today, linking to some shady site which is most likely aimed at stealing your login details, thus the user probably got banned and all his PM's deleted. Problem is I can't mark that deleted PM as read now.
edit: I've tried doing ctrl+F5 to clear the cache already
