The last 'real' update we saw was from December 2008 when they announced the Scirocco coming to LFS.. let alone we never saw any pictures or anything until August 2009.
Sure LFS is taking its time.
No twitter, no facebook, just a website and a forum, and some junkies that touch the game every once in a while... who got the game in middle school, and have now graduated from college and have a full time job.
I'm not bashing, but for a game as superior as this.. and as far into development as this is.. a "real" update every once in a while would be nice.
The devs are on the forums more than a few times a month, probably several times a week looking at what bugs people are having etc.
If they have enough time to respond to some people's questions, Victor can certainly take a 5 minute coffee break once a month to show a cutesy teaser shot of a tire or something and write a few sentences.
The little things.. go a very long way.

It will have rubber grommets in there so it doesn't crack, not that it would to begin with. It isn't a structural piece, it will just be hanging there to direct air from my foglight to my intake.
I'm not complaining, I just.. wish there wasn't one guy writing the code and can change whatever he wants on the turn of a dime lol.
I'm excited for adventure and everything, but dragons and enchantments is just turning it into so many other games out there.. I always felt like minecraft was trying to be very different, and it was, but this is a step backwards for me.
It will be interesting and scary as hell when a dragon does come down and attack me but.. I dunno, I'm not sure what it ties into right now.

That's what Bobby wants to do is turn it into a rotary.. in his dreams LOL
He can't afford it. But if he does it will be the first street one to ever do it.
As for OEM vs Aftermarket... the Dyson Racing MZR engine is the same as what is in my car, and it's running up against Aston Martin V8s in the ALMS series.. and beating them... with OEM parts.
Sure it's a blueprinted engine, but.. There is a difference between having the "right" part, when so many other people have run turbos on our cars (the MZR engine is MADE to be turbo).. yet his header warped a good quarter inch.
Last dyno day I videoed up near his house was a 350z with a 2JZ swap, running about that, mid 400s. But his car was also in the shop for that entire week.
Not something someone would do with their daily driver....

I'm getting a hypertech tuner from a Speed 3 owner in the area. It'll give me another 10 whp which is awesome.
See how that goes. Probably going to pull out my TB and grind it down some this weekend and also make my intake pipe for my intake this weekend too, out of fiberglass or some material.

He did everything the right way, he just pushed it way to hard.. way to often. And none of the parts he used were cheap, I promise you that.

Honestly after a long time when I can afford it and have a house and a second car and the engine goes to shits I want to rebuild an MZR full of cossy parts. The guy I bought the roll bar from is up in PA and he's doing a full N/A build. I haven't asked how much money (I know it's a lot) but he's going to start doing hill climb races in his car. But yeah, he's got things I don't even know of. It is putting down over 300hp or so, it will keep up / slightly in front of a Speed 3 until the Speed tops out.

My buddy was boosted in a 3 sedan 2.0, that turbo ran him about 12k in debt.
Fortunately his engine still works.
Minus some blown gaskets, a warped to shit header, a broken 3rd gear, a destroyed ECU, and miscellaneous other things.
lol that would be kinda cool.
But yeah.. bring on minecraft architecture. I want pistons to be able to lift like.. frames that you can build, so you can raise an entire building or something with only a few pistons.
Minecraft would be awesome if it had simple machines such as pulleys, wedges, and some structural items instead of .. every block for itself.
It just bugs me that MC turned in a direction.. NO ONE saw coming. I'm sure some people are happy but.. cool.. a dragon? What's the point. Am I supposed to enchant my sword with love so when I swing at it it becomes my pet?

It was a super clean, but we drove next to each other for a while until we got next to a light, he was behind someone but he started to rev to get me to rev lol.. only for him to discover I don't have a speed but an NA 3.
Anyways, my buddy knows this guy with this civic; so we were going up the highway, going 65-70 or so, just said what the hell I wanted to see this civic go since it had a massive FMIC and the blow off was crazy sounding. So I drop into 3rd and just punch it, I pull ahead for like 2 seconds; you can hear his turbo spool up, and black smoke starts pouring out of his back end and he just GOOOOEEESSSS LOL!!!!!!!!
He at least hit 110 easy in only a few seconds; that civic was amazing.

it's like that on both sides and it SUCKS. Just about anyone that has flared out their fenders on a 3 has had the same issue.
trying to figure out a solution, but you can't get to that spot on the inside without cutting out the fender wells.

@e2, I just repainted the calipers yesterday so I let them dry and repainted the springs black today once I got the chance. But yeah you can see them, they are there, but white in some places and black in others so I could paint calipers yesterday but went back and touched it all up today.

No it won't look exactly the same; It's the shapes I want; the colors won't be the same, we'll be throwing some gradient or some shit on the golds to make them appear... more gold (that's what the customer wants.. more gold!) so.

It supposedly has a cavern system right under the island, and curls around and goes all the way to bedrock!!
He didn't mention of any islands nearby but I didn't see any in the video.
