I screwed a custom-built wooden platform into my desk, since my desk is hollow, it fell out recently (damn IKEA desk...), due to lack of support. My first idea was to clamp it, but then my father had the idea to screw it in. But now, I have it next to my wheel, until I come up with another way. (something is being thought of right now actually, Imma sketch it out..)

I'm looking for a cooler as well, I'm considering getting an Antec Kuhler, which is a universal chip, maintenance-free liquid cooling solution. Although from pictures, it isn't at all that "flashy". It's the successor to the Corsair Hydro series, (only branded as an Antec)

by the way, does this look cool? It's universal, comes in a choice of blue or red

I'd say say +1, Midgets might seem fun. Dirt racing should be cool too. LFS is lacking content-wise, hence I'm bored.

It isn't legal because it causes multiple issues in multiplayer, I've experienced them from users with them on myself, they make small car to car nudges into full on crashes.

Not a problem, I've been a G25 user for while now, I'm going to use it until it breaks.

Also, don't forget to lock it after you calibrated it.

So you're saying the wheel is off-centre? if it is, turn the wheel to both extents, while having the axis calibration unlocked, this should centre it.

and if the steering degrees ingame is different than the wheel, you can set it to the value ingame through the Logitech Wingman software that comes with the wheel.

Have you had this issue happen before? you can try updating drivers, or reinstalling.

Graphics card issue maybe? I must admit, I never had this happen.

Try reinstalling DirectX, or just download a fresh d3d8.dll and put it in the LFS folder, It works most of the time for me.

you need to cut the selected sound from the full one and save it as a .wav

LFS only works with short sounds.

Just tried it with iDisplay, and it worked like a charm. I need to find a way to keep it up though

I've powered my iPod with my PC off before through it, and it won't power anything if the hub part isn't connected into the outlet. Sometimes my wheel turns on in the middle of the night, but won't calibrate.

yes, It's during boot, I've kept it plugged into an externally powered hub (my 15" Monitor)

To be honest, I haven't had a problem with the wheel calibrating itself every boot, I'm just fine with it.


Ever since I bought a new motherboard, I've noticed that my wheel Turns off and on during the calibration process. The USB slot hasn't changed.

For LFS, they need an external program that uses Outgauge, I haven't found any, but I assure you there are some.

I've been wondering here, what are the settings exactly used to to extract the sounds? Could it work for Underground 2 or any other NFS game?

It works with all controllers I've tested, including a Gamecube Controller

Aero is on almost all Windows 7 versions AFAIK, and in your video you appear to be using Aero.

Here's how to change it, if you want to bypass the UAC dialog, just click on "Show settings for all users" and do it from there, so it doesn't bug you all the time:
