Most of WR's has been achieved with button clutch and macros to make the shifting instant.
Let say even more - any button-to-axis emulation inside LFS requiers the button to be held down for atleast 100ms to hit 100% of ingame axis, so the regular button clutch is kinda delayed
In the other hand, some external software(hello, WR holders) is able to emulate virtual axis with near zero response time so the limitation is bypassed. Add macro and u will get an extremely fast button shifting and automatic clutch.
I might be wrong, aswell as other people who did notice that attacks were mostly eu servers problem(atleast for last weeks) Even piracy-related forum threads may bring more insight. I clearly remember people were talking about pirate servers with their own "economics", account renthal and other paid stuff. I guess thats pretty enough info to highlight this small group of individuals who have "no longer welcome" status and may be responsible for attacks. Just dig into forum for past few years, lol.
So if we talk about motive its definetely $$$ they get from cracked players in their country.
Options - Graphics - Shadow type-off, Full-scene AA and mirror AA-none, textures-low res
Options - Misc - Maximum buffered frames 2, Full physics for remote cars-no
Ctrl+Alt+del after u start the game - task manager - details tab - right click lfs.exe - set priority-high
Killing background processes like browser, discord and etc will also help
As a big fan of e-driven public transport(trains, trolley buses), gotta say that i dont understand people who choose to own a car while living in a middle of very big city(like Saint-Petersburg or Moscow). There is already enough public transport of any kind, but some people still prefer to own a personal vehicle by any means. Idk, this looks like second step after buying the "latest model smartphone", correct me if im wrong, lol
Hello guys and gals.
Gotta share some of my thoughts which may sound pretty absurd.
I see some people use Off Topic part of forum as their own personal trash can, and me neither an exception here.
Lemme introduce at first - my nickname is paket42x also known as pakkeji, real name is Edward and also a long-term LFS player (long-term cracked/shared, until mods release) Im 29 y.o and gotta admit that this videogame have got atleast 1/3 of my life(10 years or kind of, if we count cracked game experience) If we count an offline experience that will be 1/2 aswell.
I've got a lot of various experience in my life, like we all do ofc, but just wanna mention occult sects here (well they are not religion-based at all)
I've been in some kind of sect myself like in early 00's - OK, not only me but my close relatives too, thanks to friends of my family and my dad - we got back to normal life.
LFS experience turns me back into this somehow. Am i still sick?
We all want "updates", but who knows which updates Scawen will bring us? One main person, one 3d artist. I dont even understand what they will bring to us. Im scared guys, living in fear
,
1. All LFS default cars(except FBM, RAC and BF1 i guess) were made from scratch to suit the tyre physics parameters which are not obvious for people who has no degree in vehicle dynamics. As far as i understand, LFS vehicles are all about tyres they need to utilize. Weight balance, engine, suspension geometry, driver position, default setup values and all kind of stuff is strictly balanced by Scawen himself. We still have some good tools like Bob Smith's VHPA to dig into this mess, but VHPA has nothing to do with suspension geometry so thats not enough to be fair. Also, most valueable things related to tyres u can see in Editor are SA/SR and thats all.
2. 90% of real competitive drift vehicles are using so called "wisefab kits", so the suspension geometry and handling balance of these cars are far from what was done by car manufacturer and engineers. I'd rather say the "real" conditions u are talking about, well, its all about vehicles which just suck in handling the tyres in a right way. Im absolutely sure here, maybe except some cars like z05 which was engineered to utilize 18-19 diameter rims with wide tyres. As far as i can judge, in RU pro drift scene we have all kinds of japanese and european FR cars but the way those cars were "tuned" is just to add wide "grippy" tyres. Those kind of adjustments makes some drivers struggle when they are behind the wheel.
So, until we get more suspension info in LFS Editor + new VHPA in new patch and/or people who are interested to dig into physics part more than, lets say adding triangles into a wheel 3d mesh, u gotta enjoy your drift mods tuned by all kinds of teenager players
P.S. Houssem mods are not bad in terms of physics, gotta admit that. Much respect
