Try installing the latest bios drivers for the MOBO

Found here: http://tw.giga-byte.com/Suppor ... ype=BIOS&FileID=13702

The release notes state fixing overclocking issues in previous versions. This is the formal release of the driver.

Good luck!

All of the people that think it is funny to crash people out by obviously stopping on track ect.

so most of the demo players tbh...

Depends on which model. Our college had a room of Hanns-G 17" monitors for the work stations and they wernt very good to be fair... colour clarity just wasnt there even after messing with settings for 5-10 mins. LG / Samsung would be the brands to look at.

yeah the fusion demo servers where full pretty much all day everyday... and i occasionally popped in for admining.... urgh.. i just don't understand what drives these idiots to impersonate someone else to try and ruin their credibility. seems this idiot forgot about the user names in S2.

Quote from Jakg :
Sort of sad that someone would impersonate such a big n00b though

X,Y Co-ordinates for a Square area.

Hi guys

Need a little help with a bit of coding. Im using C# in order to create a small insim application.

What i want to achieve is to create a sqaure on the track, in which if a car is in said square an event will happen.

Anyone got any ideas on how i can map a square big enough for say 4 UF1's to fit inside with X, Y Co-ordinates, instead of having thousands of lines of code?

Thanks
Dan.

Hopefully when i have a working dedi, i can get this set up. At the moment a new HDD that i had ordered seems to be malfunctioning, and causes blue screen stop errors on the server.

Ive been moved to other hardware from the original DwwNetwork box, so when this replacement HDD is installed in the server (some point this week im told) we should be able to put this live.

We are currently planning a small insim application that will deal with the TBO server, and will include some nice little features.

Thanks
Dan.

I agree sam. I don't know where this "competition" element has come from. We just wanted to re-instate the close TBO racing by providing a server. We will install simple tools like LFS lapper to make it a little more interesting. If it fails.. it fails. If not, then good for us i guess.

Hello!

Following the success of the TBO Easter Cup Event hosted by Fusion-Gaming, and due to popular demand for a decent TBO racing server, I would like to announce that the "Fusion Racing TBO" Server is now online.

Thanks
Dan.

Top 3 PM me with server info

Please include:

Server Name:
Admin Password:

Your servers will be set up tomorrow.

==============

Thank you to all that took part. We will host more races like this soon, however on more forgiving tracks. Fe Green was a harsh track to select, however we thought it was best because of the free server hosting prize. It would test the drivers skills and abilities in a close race situation.

It wasnt our fault the server had to be passworded before schedual. We didnt expect this much interest tbh.

there is 1 min left of qualifying.

we did say to get there early to get a slot.

the server filled up very quickly and therefore we needed to password it. This is because of the max cars on the grid being 32.

The Event is full

The Server will appear on the insim relay for LFS remote soon.

Thanks for the offers.

This is rather embarrasing for us.

The backup server is online, which is hosted on a separate dedi

servername: Easter TBO Cup BACKUP

Thanks

Ok ladies.

Server is online for you to join and reserve your slot! The current track is NOT the track for the event. Feel free to join it and race around with the other drivers before the big race!

Server Name: Easter TBO Cup

Cars: TBO
Current track: BL1 ( NOT ACTUAL EVENT TRACK)

Remember! : Just before the event is going to begin, the server will be passworded and it will be given out to the racers in the server in case of disconnects.

Have fun!

Thanks
Dan.

Yeah i agree totally with this. I used to love racing the TBO once i had gained my silver license. However one of the main reasons that i have not been on CTRA much these days is that the multi class racing has put me off it.

what could be done is perhaps another server.. like they used to have.. CTRA 2a (tbo) and CTA 2b (multiclass). It would attract alot more attention i feel because the racing is so close and much more fun with JUST tbo on the track.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks
Dan

Quote from mcgas001 :Not being funny but, Thats pointless for the devs to make a workaround. There will always be someone out there that will hack the game some how or another no matter what the devs do. Just leave the sad Demo pricks to get on with it

oh. this thread got back on topic??

The face remains though nova, that its possible. I know alot of things similar may also be possible, however isnt the key to releasing a final version of an application, is having it as secure and as "hack free" as possible? im not saying it should be "hack proof" because thats merely impossible, however what im saying is if things like this happen at an early stage in development.. shouldnt it be addressed and prevented? im not a programmer, i merely have interest in web based systems, but isnt the principal the same?
