Quote from Matrixi :Silvia needs votes badly. Why are people so much in to hardcore race cars? I find them the most boring to drive in all sims. With the exception of that Group B Audi, that one got my vote.

Who wants a simulator based on average road cars? You can just step outside for that.

Quote from Kristi :
Why do you think you reflect what everyone else is thinking when "people smash your crap in your face 2 times a day" (as someone said), and you get constant disagreement?

Because what I say isn't restricted by some social obligation to satisfy others.

It ain't a mad attitude. It's me asking why waste your time. Essentially I'm being courteous to the guy. Advising him not to waste his time because he won't get many views there. He's welcome to disagree though.

I'm here saying what everyone else is thinking. Why record and average paced lap? It's a valid question.

No offence, but why would anyone want to watch a vid of that, when there are guys doing 1.53's?

Quote from kars19 :Just tested that app Manged to get just bellow you, de Souza

Damn Maca' is so rewarding to drive, it will punish you if you don't drive it properly, reminds me a bit of lfs RAC (mid engine characteristics)

You're all on steering help? That's a bit faggish isn't it?

Quote from Kristi :I'm talking about the stock version of them, as of Scavier's balance. Not putting tons of kg and intake % on the FZR. It just got out of hands recently, that's why the XRR feels faster with community restrictions.

True dat

Well done guys. Like Dynx proved once again. It doesn't make a difference if you have the best players in the game. Only the best PEOPLE can keep a team going for so long. Big Congrats for that.

Quote from Kristi :That's quite a bad comparision to begin with. I wouldn't compare AC with LFS for sake, but if we take your standpoint, FZR is a lot easier to drive and is more rewarding thus Scavier not being able to balance 3 cars into the same category... The XRR is a lot harder to drive, gotta keep the momentum up with the turbos, gotta be a lot smoother going into the turns and is never gonna get the same pace as a mediocre FZR driver.

Nah the majority of people are quicker in the xr than they are in fz. That's fact.

I'm not comparing LFS to AC just the relativity of the xr and fz compared with the 4-12 and 458.

Quote from amp88 :Yes, it definitely is. However, outright laptimes don't really mean much for high performance road cars (despite what Top Gear might want you to believe). What would you rather drive: a car with predictable handling, great front-end precision and sublime power delivery or one with a poor front-end, unpredictable high speed handling (ready to spin up that inside wheel even at 100+mph just because of the diff design) and peaky power delivery? Ultimately we may get the chance to race them against each other in AC and most people will pick the 12C simply because it's faster and despite the shortfalls in comparison to the 458. However, given the choice of which to drive a few laps on my own I know which set of keys I'd be picking up.

I really wanted to enjoy driving the 12C (because I think the road car is generally an interesting concept that's been executed well), but even from the first few laps it was clear something is wrong. I hope it's a problem with the simulation (I remain unconvinced that at least one of the systems in the 12C is actually simulated in AC) that can be fixed in future updates.

Actually I feel you could almost say the 458 was the XRR and the 4/12c is more like the FZR in the way that the FZR/McLaren is outright faster and harder to drive but the XRR/458 is easier to drive just as quick but not its not a quicker car outright.

Quote from The Moose :No doubt. I did a 53.8 at Imola in the 12C in my first 5 laps. I reckon I'll go at least a second a lap quicker in the Mclaren compared to the Ferrari

It's two seconds quicker for me around Magione, which I'm using as an out and out handling circuit.

Quote from amp88 :Have to disagree there. The 'open' diff feels really bad for me in high speed sections (e.g. the Beckets/Maggots complex at Silverstone or down the hill towards Aqua Minerale at Imola). Also the initial turn-in on the 12C feels so clumsy compared to the 458, which is much more precise. The gearchange times on the 12C (especially the downshift!) are very slow compared to the 458. I assume that's based on data McLaren have supplied the dev team with, though. The power delivery on the 12C also feels very peaky compared to the 458, especially out of slow corners. Yes, I appreciate that the 12C has twin turbos and the 458 is NA, but I'd be surprised if the real car was as brutal as this.

Driving the 12C and the 458 back to back it's difficult to find any category where the 12C is better...

12C is most definately faster than the 458 though I think.

Quote from CoolColJ :One of my first few novice races with the Honda Fit, at Brands Hatch, was day dreaming and crashed

Damage is mostly dents and scuffs
Had Sports Hards and stiffer suspension upgrade, plus wheel upgrade - that's all.
Sports hard tyres sound OK

But considering how much you seem to fascinate over GT how could you possibly be daydreaming? Did you think you were in heaven or something?
