Quote from tristancliffe :Yes, 2 seconds can come from thin air. Vettel driving perfectly. The car working well with good upgrades. Getting the tyres into the zone and keeping them there...

Winners don't have to be cheating to win.

Well it doesn't mean they're cheating anyway, they OBVIOUSLY have found something extra that the other teams aren't aware of/on top of. A 2second gap between top level F1 cars is just insane. With the amount of crossover examinations they give their cars and money involved.

Just look at the grid. Caterham and Marussia are like what 1second ish off the back of the grid?

Everyone inbetween is at LEAST within 2 seconds of Ferrari but RB/Vettel are 2seconds quicker than them?

People have a right to be suspicious, I wouldn't personally suggest anything ILLEGAL but would suggest something (disregarding this 'tc' stuff entirely) they have is giving them such an advantage.

In regards to tyre shake Dennis, it could be a differential or drive-shaft imbalance because the tyre tracks are consistent and then they just seem to shake madly after 20meters. Although the more obvious prognosis is that the track has some washboard bumps there and was causing the rear tyres to skip over them.

As QS said, the problem isn't connecting, it's getting past the 'tutorial' which for anyone with a brain they don't need to use.

It can be vibrations of the chassis bouncing the car along the track causing these staggered tyre marks but the reality is, nothing to THAT extent. What I find interesting is it's clearly in the 2nd phase of corner exit that these staggered marks appear.

My character deleted itself and now I'm stuck at this impossible tutorial..

I did however manage to get onto a deathmatch game which is why I said it was just like GTA IV. I hope the GTAO is worth this shit.

Tried it just now, was fun but it's just the same as GTA IV online really.

Annoying that the voice chat is global and not local... really why would I wanna hear a guy on the other side of the map?

If they've been doing anything illegal the chances are Ray, that they've been doing it for some time.

Quote from Bmxtwins :too much scenery in long beach to get it 100% accurate, they should've just done a simple scenery.

Clearly iRacing have 0 knowledge of manipulating laser data. They clearly can't remove it or change it. So they just left it as it is. They think that the data they get is 1000% accurate but if you don't fine tune it, you get excuses like Long Beach.

Quote from ACCAkut :the Nazis built a massive debt, isolated the market and steered straight into the next war. It never was their goal to create a longterm-functioning economy before the war.

edit: The big infrastructure projects Hitler did were at times too efficient: Farmers had a hard time finding labour for their harvests, since those were all involved building highways, canals and stuff (happened to my great-grandpas farm). All build with money that didn't exist.

With war comes debt but the placements that the Nazi regime had made meant Germany bounced back quicker than the UK or France did, and Germany 'lost' the war.

Quote from ACCAkut :you're talking bullshit, have fun reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Nazi_Germany

]

German economy increased more than any other nation in history after WW1 during the Nazi regime period.

This is just a precursor.

Did you even read the article?

Germany is what it is today because of it's history. If the second world war hadn't of happened. Germany would be just be a bigger version of Bohemia getting bitch slapped by everyone but as it stands ever since WW2 they've been the power-house of the european economy.

Quote from Shotglass :no because turning actual people into cartoon supervillains takes away from their reality and the fact that they are very much human and possible to be repeated instead of something that is so surreal and cartoonish that it becomes impossible to even imagine becomming a reality

Amen. We need Hitler now. Cos economically he has never been bettered. Economically speaking there never has been anyone even close to him. Unlike Stalin who forced people to work for him, people under Hitlers regime actually WANTED to work and did so to the highest level of efficency. Sure, they were subject to propaganda but now in our capitalist societies we're subject to even stronger propaganda.

And where on earth do you buy a tank from!?

Quote from CSF :

I'd probably boo Alonso. My moral compass suggests its wrong to blackmail your own team.

Then you'd be booing alot of F1 drivers, Lauda, Regazzoni, Andretti, Schumacher, Senna, Prost the list is pretty endless..

Quote from Mustafur :Hills car had the massive adantage of bridgstones at Hungary that was the only reason why he was in contention and Spa only was possible after plenty of controversial accidents, holding up ralf due to to team orders was mainly the reason he won even after that.

He was consistently at the front in that race regardless of the crashes. If everyone had finished he would've finished 3rd easily.

I mean, he qualified 3rd in the dry anyway. So you really can't play down the victory.

Quote from ACCAkut :no idea, just found that pic on 9gag. But I guess whoever made it just renamed some .exe to GTAV.exe and photoshop screenshots into it. The missing taskbar hints at that I think (and 600mb seem too little for the game)

Wonder why it's in windowed mode? To 'show' that it's PC I guess but the fact it's in windowed is a bit fishy.

Quote from sinbad :Blueflame you can be such a hypocrite sometimes.

You jump all over anybody that says a race was dull, labelling them as "not proper f1 fans" or words to that effect, but now you're saying nobody is supposed to like Vettel, and anybody could just as easily apply your odd logic to that and say that you obviously aren't a true f1 fan if you don't appreciate Vettels and RbRs ruthless and ruthlessly efficient winning mentality. How much more f1 could you get than that? Don't like it? Find another sport perhaps.

So offer your opinion all you wish, but give up with the stupid labelling and attempts to undermine anyone that disagrees.

As I said, doesn't matter how successful you are it's not excuse for being ****s.

I haven't said that nobody is supposed to like Vettel but to be fair that's the truth of it.

Anyone with a moral compass probably won't like him and actually that seems to be the case, as proven with the boos he receives in hordes at pretty much every GP. People only favour someone with honour, dignity and respect because if you're a man, then these are the 3 rules you live by.

If someone in your workplace did something like what Vettel has done you'd ****in hate the guy unconditionally. So really I'm hypocrit? No. It don't matter who you are, if you're a **** then you don't get my respect. 4 time WDC or not.

Anyway lets move on.
