The weight penalty of a bigger tank is less if you're able to run the engine harder. If you're doing faster laps because you're able to push, then the weight disadvantage is negated.
Fuel usage/power ratio is all relative. The fastest way around teh track is not to have a less fuel than necessary to finish a race and then coast around until the end. The fastest way is to have enough fuel, and no more. Which in reality is an impossible task.
What you're saying is similar to someone saying a mini would be faster around a race track than an F1 car, because a mini didn't have to use it's brakes as it was travelling slowly enough to go everywhere flat out.
The situation is they are limited on their fuel tank size, which is the FIAs way of trying to reduce costs/ improve efficiency but all that happens is the team find another strategy which is to run less fuel than needed and coast it out at some point in the race. That strategy isn't faster than a tank that suits teh engines needs, it's a strategy thats faster given the rules that the FIA have at the moment.
All you need to do is find a window when the chopper isn't around and go into the country side hills or some shit, either that or find a secluded tunnel you lose them as easy if not easier than the other games but they have obviously made an effort for teh cops to be annoying as possible.
Doesn't matter what car either, even a faster car than the police car at full speed and they still ram you. They are super aggresive, way too agressive to be honest. and the annoying physics mean you can't ram cars in a road block or you will stop dead.
I call massive BS on that. Unless you sat on it for a week you'd not even get close to 300 mil. Growth and financial change is minimal at the best of times. You're lucky to get even a 35% profit so how the hell can someone get 300mil ? Massive lie.
The maximum growth I've seen is only 28 or so % So you'd need a fair bit of poke to get that kind of investment return.
They should really give an unlimited fuel tank capacity. Nobody is being more 'efficient' in F1 with their fuel, all that happens is they go balls to teh wall [fuel wise] until the last pitstop and then they just cruise. That ain't racin.
How can it be that one of teh most succesful WTCC drivers loses his ride after a season of producing good results in favour of pay drivers? **** this world.
Just cos you see more depth and higher resolution textures, don't make it an infinitely bigger map.
Cars still disappear on rare occasions too when you turn around and turn back.
As we see it, it's a game with questionable but tolerative physics and an open world just like any other GTA from Vice City onwards.
It's just like any other GTA really, there's no point exaggerating the product because of your pre-release excitement that you're committed to fulfilling.
There's only one thing in GTAV that is truly epic, and far surpasses all the previous GTA's and that's character development and story-line.
Infact for story so far from what I've gotten through [20%] it's one of the best stories I've ever seen on a video game. With dialogue that makes you actually laugh out rather than just draw out a wry smile and character to and fro's that really seem almost to be completely improv and not written at all.
EDIT : Oh, and the music, ok shit like Rhianna and some other crap can get ****ed but the sheer selection and generic output of music is very satisfying indeed. Much better than GTA IV for example.
To be honest GTA has NEVER been about driving physics. It's about mowing people down and doing the most insane shit you can't do on other games. Although Saints Row took the helm of the stupidity that GTA III and Vice City had to another level GTA has never been a serious game. The whole basis of its existence has always been tongue in cheek humour and outlandish characters.
If you don't get this, then GTA was never for you.
If there's no gap you don't make one by forcing you way in. That will just anger people, or incur the wrath of the stewards. If you can't pass cleanly then don't pass. If Spengler hadn't of wrecked him, Wickens would probably have gotten a penalty and everybody would be talking about this incident in a completely different light.
Spengler turned the guy for sure but I mean, Wickens failed at a divebomb and then muscled his way into a gap that wasn't a gap. He got what he deserved although I don't condone intentional wrecking.
