Well I find it ironic how the L49 is polar opposite in behaviour to the L49 on iRacing. People were saying the L49 on iRacing was amazing etc etc. Now those people are saying the L49 on AC is amazing but surely it just shows how wrong iRacing is...
He has proved himself. Remember Perez has had multiple issues with the car all season and drove around it. He's out performed Button on many occasion when the car was working fine. Remove the times when he had a puncture or car failure and he'd be matching Button for points more or less.
Well back to the drifting aspect, I noticed you have to account for body roll and spring re-extension to really keep sliding momentum from side to side, much more than ever before in a sim. It's most evident in the E92 though.
The clutch dynamics are gay. So finite to actually get a h-shifter car into gear without waiting around in neutral for days to get it into the gear you want. Seems like you have to lift sufficiently even if the clutch is fully depressed. Seen that problem many time with other sims though.
Lotus would be retarded to put Maldonado in their car. When it actually comes to racing other cars for position other than Grosjean in the beginning where he was just makng errors Maldonado will consciously crash into other cars.
As with the TP, it's such a ... immersive sim you almost feel like you could judge the handling of a 458 as if you'd actually drive one, because all of the information you're getting feels entirely realistic.
Er what? It was simple confusion at the fact i push the track limits quite liberally and never launched my car into the air once. I was asking where/how because I was confused at how this was possible.
So if someone even implies [which I am not in any way] you were lying you go all rogue kb warrior on them? Or what? I don't understand, forgive me and my non existent brain oh great one.
To be fair the doors on that E92 look like they open too much. They are like 90 degrees to the car... XD
Also Tristan, what kerbs are you refering to? :S I drive as ragged as Hamilton on Cocaine and I didn't find a kerb that sent me sufficiently into the air..
It's £30 pound that you never need to pay again. iRacings total cost is over £300 and thats without the subscription costs.
Fordman I really don't understand how your 'opinion' can differ so much.. It is what it is. Why complain about the fact that they've basically made an early release that people are free to purchase and play whilst they wait for the full release that they will not need to pay for if they've already bought it.
Almost all games are unfinished and constantly under development, so this argument is invalid.
Complaining that this is some sort of disadvantage to buy a 30£ game that one can play offline and doesn't have to purchase individual cars and/or tracks and such 30£ payment you never have to make again.
Seriously though, have you been drinking? What you are saying is 110% opposite of the reality.
You don't get a refund, there's no percentage increase on the full release you pay now and you don't have to pay later? It's not a scam. You're just able to hotlap with a few cars on a few tracks instead of sitting on your hands waiting for the full release or jerking it to pictures of Mariah Carey..
Actually it's only 1200kg so to be honest it should be able to hold some kind of slide. I couldn't even get any oversteer in that thing. So definitely something wrong there in the game engine but I still wouldn't go so far as to say you can do a 'mad slide' in a stock E30 though.
You can't hide the wheel but can hide driver arms and fix the wheel but you're not forced to 900 degrees and I don't suppose you'd be able to do mad slides when an E30 only has 240~ hp and weighs about 1500kg [off the top of my head].
I mean you can slide, but not really drift and in road cars this is quite normal behavior really when they're generally leant more towards an open diff setup. Think about it this way, you're more liable to spin out in a stock M3 than you are to hold a 'mad slide'. There's too much weight and not enough power.
I guess all you can do is tweak the settings, max front splitter and harden the rear tyre and anti roll to hell and see if you can what you want out of teh car then.
