Because they've got nothing better to do...except for me. I have a very interesting preoccupation with listening to the crackling noise coming out of the oven when it cools down
I'm not saying neither of +1 / -1, I'm just saying that KERS is unnecessary at the moment, since it was primarily created to improve fuel economy. Fuel in LFS costs nothing as far as I know, so there is no need for KERS.
Now you might say that KERS also provides moments of extra power...in LFS it would be the same as NOS in NFS then...a recharging power booster. Go figure.
I have a hypothetical question. Would it be wrong if he'd use a crack? He already has S2 anyway, although he still wouldn't be able to play online with S2 content. I'm not suggesting anything, just asking for an opinion.
I still don't get this "I got crashed/banned for no apparent reason" thing. OK, I have been crashed on purpose numerous times during races...many times even from a leading position. Sure it pissed me off, but it's not that big of a deal to make me start a new thread about it. Explain to me please what's so serious about this, because I just don't get it. It's still just a game for God's sake, you're not losing money, so stop losing nerves
//edit: I 100% agree with TVE and the other 2 post above his
A passport? Now I'm really confused I think that we are speaking about different visas here I meant Visa credit card, you don't need a passport to have one as far as I know.
What does your age have to do with your parents not having a Visa? Anyway, check out the LFS home page to see the possible payment methods and pick one and if none suits you, ask someone trustworthy to buy you a voucher for the game.
You've made a very good point here. Maybe I should repeat that I don't need to prevent users from copying my text (I know how copy-protection annoys people). I just want to add some subtle watermark, that will help me recognize my text.
@PaulH, thanks for the PM and your solution, it's great, definetly what I was looking for
That's a good suggestion However at the end, the person that copied the text will see the characters, that were previously hidden. What I want to achieve is that the person doesn't know that there is something "hidden" in the text until I say: "But you have copied my article! Oh you want proof? The text contains something that you don't know about, but I do! Ha ha!"
I am working on a website for a client, but this could also apply to any kind of text editing.
I have written an article, that I put a lot of effort into and I don't like the idea of someone else copy-pasting it to their site and claiming it as their own creation. It's not that I am making money of it, I don't even intend it to be "unable-to-be-copy-pasted" and putting a copyright at the end won't help anyway.
What I want is to put some catch into the text, something very subtle, that will be copied when the "person" copy-pastes the text somewhere else. I just don't know what to use. Maybe a double-space ( &nbps somewhere. I don't know, so I am asking for your suggestions, especially if you have some experience with this.
Hi.
I have some PC problems and I suspect that one of my RAM chips is corrupt. Can you please recommend a software tool that will test for RAM deffects?
Sorry if this has been posted before, but I tought it might be an interesting read for someone.
//edit: Ooops, it's not the 'Roc, it's the Mk6 Golf Sorry, I was mistaken by the small pictures and I didn't even read the text before posting here, shame on me.
Maybe I should have said that. I have a laptop with:
CPU: Intel Pentium 1.73GHz
GPU: nVidia GeForce 7300 (the mobile version with turbocachce)
RAM: 2GB
HDD: game takes some 700MB
Overall a 2 years old computer which was medium-spec then.
With no postprocessing, no AA and some redundant "effects" the game runs like a dream at 1280x800. I have grass on, speedtree (whatever that is) on, some other stuff on too. No problem with FPS
Sorry to bump an older thread but I have just played the demo and it's quite fun Besides the obviously expected off-road fun, you get to purchase some upgrades for the vehicle (performance and visual). Driving on the rocks is really fun. I'd say realistic but I have no first-hand experience with this kind of driving so don't take me literally on that one. But I can say with certainty that on-road driving especially in high speeds is rubbish and surprising at least (takes some time to get used to). Anyway, it's fun to watch the car interact with the surface, especially rocks and bumps.
The are some driver aids, that can be turned off (anti-roll-over thing for example) and there are some gadgets to help you through the rough terrain (ESP, anti slip etc.). Fuel gets low pretty fast so keep your eye on the gauge.
Concerning the realism factor, it still isn't LFS, but I don't know a more realistic off-road game. The demo is already available (the link is at the bottom, under the 3 small images on the right) and is not time limited (only content limited, like LFS), at least I didn't notice any time limit.
I have tried one trial (medium difficulty) with a time of around 12 minutes. The AIs do it in somewhere between 3-4 minutes, so I guess I was too careful
Anyways, try the game out and post your experience, it's worth a try.
Oh and one more thing, did anyone of you try it with a FFB wheel? I have a G25 but currently disconnected. If no one gives it a try, I will, but in a few days.
I didn't copy the conversation but 3 different people (judging by different nicknames) were asking me about diarrhea bread. WTF? I suspect I was talking to a chatbot or something.
