Maybe you have Vista and LFS in Program Files folder. Try running it with admin privileges or move LFS somewhere else.

Is it possible to see the torque/power curves somewhere? I would like to see them to know when to shift etc.

I also think that it is useless. After seeing the Race 07 video, I even more think it is useless. I prefer watching my own hand do the shifting (courtersy of G25).
If you ask me, I would rather like to see pit crew animation (as mentioned before) or a little off-topic, motion blur on wheels.

Quote from DeKo :if wireless was useless for gaming, every single person playing the ps3 and the xbox360 (premium at least) would be completely fucked, no?

Is there any other choice?

Quote from Dajmin :Better would be a dedicated spot in the pits where a pace car gets added automatically at the start of the race. It'd wait there with constant 100% fuel refill until needed. So it comes out for a rolling start and waits for the drivers to line up behind, or it waits until there's an admin command or big incident. People can see it in advance and plan accordingly.

And it could free up another server slot

Definetly +1 if you ask me.

I didnt't go through the whole thread so IDK, but has anyone tried the same thing with more BF1s? With different tuning you could even achieve some harmonics and chords :P

There was also another episode of TopGear (but I forgot which one), where James May attempted to recreate the TopGear theme song using various sounds of various cars' engines. Unfortunately I didn't find it on youtube as I don't know which episode it was. If anyone knew, I'd be grateful

As for your BF1 idea, you did a great job, it's really fun

If using 2 buttons is awkward, what will you do with the G25's 3 pedals and 6-gear H-gate shifter?

Quote from Agniz :I don't get it.. why I can't give my license to somebody, for example, to my friend, if we both are unable to drive in S2 in same time?
It's the same, like: In real life I buy a car, and I dont use it. I give it to my friend with all certificate's of registration, and other things, and he can drive with my car.
Or: I buy movie on a DVD, I watch it and then I give it to my friend, because he want's to watch it too. We both can't watch DVD in one time.

The car is yours, you can give it to anybody for free if you wish. But you don't own LFS, you just own the rights to use it and you are not allowed to pass that right to anybody else. Scavier are owners of LFS and you pay them so that you can use their software.

I remember playing LFS demo for a long time with keyboard and finally I got enough of that and decided to buy a G25. I didn't do any research about wether it will work properly with LFS or not. I was just sure, because LFS is such an openminded, user-friendly and intuitive piece of software, that I had no doubts.
And guess what, it works

So if any of you have any issues with your G25+LFS combo, be sure that it works properly.

Not really helplful this post, I know, but it's 3 in the morning and I cannot go to sleep, so I needed to clear my mind, sorry.

No need to attend at the given time. Just visit any demo server and you'll have the same experience anytime :P

Hopefully, this is more fun than demo servers

A few months ago I posted my idea of giving the corners a name. I was told to search, as it was posted a looong time ago before my post. The moral of this story is: learn from the mistakes of others

Quote from Uncle Rooster :Actually, on Blackwood GP, the racing line (4) goes trough the pit entry lines....

Maybe because it's the ideal racing line (from the perspective of lap time) but not necessarily the "legal" ideal racing line. IDK.

Quote from alland44 :Now you speak of childish.
You think that people having G25 in their names, are childish.

I think that 5haz is REALLY baby language, and further more - IT REALLY ANNOYS ME !!!

Or should 1 writ3 - 1T R3411Y 4NN0Y5 M3

When I see numbers taking place for letters, I instantly think 7, 8 or 9 years old people, with identity problems.

So don`t throw with stones, when you live in a glass house

Why is 6 afraid of 7? 'Cause 7 8 9

Road rage, yeah!

Now seriously, I again must agree. Anyway, saying sorry after the race (and behaving accordingly during the race itself) seems to me a bit more "professional" approach. Why distract others? Maybe some gestures would be in place here like a honk or blink :P

Oh and I'm sorry for getting this thread off topic.

I agree with you on that. But I think that any chat during racing is just distracting (except "player lost control" messages and the like). I usually disable the chat. To apologize is a sign of good will and respect, but maybe it would be better if everyone started apologizing after the race is over. But in general, no big issue for me, it's good as it is now Happy racing

Quote from ColeusRattus :SO just hop online and memorize your "I'm sorry, my fault" chat-bind

I don't like people who have "sorry" messages bound, because it means (IMHO) that they crash others a lot.
