The same thing happens to me and I even dare to think that it's a common problem, yet to be solved, hopefully. I haven't found a remedy for it unfortunately.

If LFS is ever going to contain pit crews, I bet one night if incredible sex with an amazon woman that it will simulate the grip of their shoe-soles.

Then let's have some kind of launch assistance for keyboard players, but not something that would make every start perfect. Maybe something like NFS has for the drags, so that there is a certain amount of skill involved, not just building up the revs to the max and waiting for green light.

He meant that having FOV at 20 will "zoom" your view to your dashboard. But IMHO, you will see sh.t and the speedo and I´d rather see the road around me :P But still, I agree with the original poster.

He said he unlocked it. Is it possible to lose all your unlocks even when entering a wrong password? Or only after a successful unlock? idk

Everyone can make new cars for LFS, but only the DEVs really can. What do I mean by this nonsene? Well, nobody has ever said that it is prohibited to make new cars for LFS, so everyone can. But is there anyone besides the DEVs themselves, who is able to do it? I guess that the answer is simple.

2 simple steps:

1) Move your monitor aside
2) Put your TV on the desk, where the wheel is

Maybe the USB (or some other) cable is damaged and the wheel sends/receives corrupted data. It sounds more like a hardware problem to me.

Thank you. But not everyone has an FFB seat and a on/off option of the vibrating wheel would do it for me. But to contradict myself, I must admit that it's not a simulation, but rather an illusion. However, the Matrix has you and I would like to have the option to live in that illusion from time to time

I would like the LFS to simulate the engine vibrations via FFB

I think you are exaggerating (sp?) it a bit. However, in my opinion, the problem is licensing. LFS DEV team would have to pay royalties to Mircosoft...in other words...would you still buy S2, if it cost not 24 pounds, but let's say, 40?

I have a G25 also and I mostly use the H-shifter and clutch combo, even with GTR cars. It's certainly a slower option than using sequential shifting, but it feeds my pashion for driving better than a semi-auto gearbox. I want as much realism as I can get. If I would want to be fast and constistent, I'd pull out my NFS installation DVDs.
