"What does it mean?"...WTF do you mean?, is it not written in black and white right in front of your face that there is a huge community racing and using the software as it's designed to be used, I can't imagine the type of consumer you might be thinking of that searches for an online racing sim and winds up at LFSW news and stats and is then by your logic turned off because there's a whole bunch of country's and community's racing one and other for years...maybe this type of consumer might land on NFS's website for lack of plugins and add-ons etc. etc. ...

This is the last time I'm commenting on threads such as this as I'm blue in the face listening to the sane among us repeat what LFS is and listening to the people whom gain from damaging Scavier's public image constantly miking the shite out of this news and information or lack there of.

The problem with LFS is not what's coming, it's what isn't. And that is listed as to-do notes.
The problem with to-do notes, is the "do" part. That takes work. So you custom tailor a life philosophy to suit your present commitment.
Once a car is moving, the energy needed to keep it moving, is way way less. Yes it will eventually stop, but its so gradual, the lfs clients won't even notice.

If you have some reason for nor wanting an external music player at least play the music files from a USB drive. The benefits gained are twofold with less disk reads(WinAmp reading song.mp3 while LFS calls for texture data or something)and the CPU waiting on all of this to happen. On older slower machines this becomes a problem and a bottleneck....and don't even dream of thinking about using un-powered USB hub's, that's a killer too...

I have a problem that is driving me nut's because my network setup works and then just simply refuses to work properly after reboot or network reconnections.

I'm using a Linux distro as a media server in my living room, there are two wireless routers as router 1 connects to the WWW and serves my server via Wan0 with and router 2 is connected to Lan0 serving my media network in the house(I want to keep my home net segregated from the internets), but I am having trouble with my server connecting to the www and I can't understand why...

Wan is set to DHCP:
192.168.xx.xx
255.255.255.0
default gateway+DNS server = 192.168.1.1

Lan
manual config
10.42.43.xx
default gateway+DNS server = 10.42.43.1

When I boot the server up and am physically have a kb and mouse plugged in I can connect Wan first and it connects(wireless bars show in network indicator), then I connect Lan which also connects allowing me to control everything via remote desktop and everythin works fine, but, if I need to reboot the server without being physically at it both wan and lan seem to connect at the same time at boot and the network indicator shows up as 'Lan connected only' mode(no wireless bars showing), which leaves Lan up but not Wan(but the propertys of Wan say it's connected and oddly I can connect to the manager on router 1 via 192.168.1.1 which means at least port 80 is getting as far as my router and then stops???

Na, as I said, most of the time you are not supposed to enter into confrontation with the AI as the objective more often than not is to get to a specific place on the map meaning the use of smoke and frags must be adopted to the full.

Playing on vet and normal easy mode is two totally different ball games, easy is good for a anger management session blowing the heck out of all in sight and vet requires understanding of exactly is being asked of you in the mission and where you primary goals are on map before you begin.

90% of the time confrontation isn't even needed with the AI, simply decoy and disappear.

I have completed all of the aforementioned titles on hard to start and easy for a laugh, why? Because I am the best.

Hi, it may be quicker to benchmark your hardware with a different OS like Ubuntu?.

Even if you spend five minutes booting a live CD up and see if all looks in good shape you'll know that your problem is with the way in which Windows has configured itself on your PC(assuming you are on Windows XP now?).

Migz, nope, I was thesting the PSX thingy at the time of and turns out to be shit so, meh.

Anyone know what the best way to read .pdf's and such, I find the Docs app to be a bit of a pain as it does nothing with the text for easy reading on the small screen, txt files seem clearer and are wrapped to the screen properly but the pdf's are too much effort to read as you constantly have to pan left and right all the time. Is there a decent file viewer app or would I be better off converting the .pdf's(somehow?)and have them all nicely wrapped as txt files???

Also, HTML pages, I have this one list saved as a webpage as it's needed for reference at work when I am off-line, the file is 1.3mb in size and takes2-3 minutes to load up in Docs and longer in iFile and when it loads it as choppy as shit, How to open saved HTML pages with Safari, and how to place desktop shortcuts of seb HTML files( without going through Apple's App Store) ???

...I had a go at just about every theme and app and came to the conclusion that the deffault theme works best for me.

The only apps I have installed are

rDesktop,
a couple of safari plugins,
stumbler plus
PSX for iphone
iFile
docs
terminal

Imo, all the bell's & whistles stuff like sliders, themes and live backgrounds use too much battery...

My only annoyance with the whole thing is that cydia is great on ways but so too is icy,

Cydia is full of content and looks nice but waaaay too slow.
