No, it's not the single greatest sim of all time. But it's still pretty damn good

In these times of recession, where you're lucky to have a job, I think it's better to get paid as much as possible while you can. You might not enjoy the work, but you will enjoy after work, when you can afford the luxuries you want. Besides, most high-paying jobs are fairly interesting. It's usually really low-paid stuff (factory floor, number crunching, etc.) that's monotonous and boring in my experience.

Hah, already nabbed the Irish release. Unfortunately, it also seems to come with the "bicep pain" and "ringing in the ears" mods as standard

They're not really inferior. The only disadvantage is not being able to aim as fast, but by turning the sensitivity up this can be overcome Apart from that, it uses pretty much the same amount of buttons as the PC version. (I count 15 on the PS3 controller)

I think it still works. You can crack the game normally, and it lets you use SP/LAN. Then they use Hamachi to spoof a LAN over Internet

BTW, buy the PS3/360 version. Much better fun. You can always...acquire the PC version afterwards to look at nicer graphics during SP

And I do have pretty much the same feelings. Take a look at some of the replies in the thread you were talking about, you'll see why my opinion of cruisers has gone slightly downhill

But, I'm perfectly entitled to hold my own non-derogatory opinion about others without coming under criticism. It's not like I said I hate their guts and want to start a lynch mob against them, I just agreed with what was, frankly, a very true post

But yes, you shouldn't be doing anything to pick up viruses. Get a proper virus scanner (or two), and leave it running. My last 2 PCs have never picked up so much as a cough, and I did some fairly dodgy stuff back then I leave Avast free and Spyware Doctor full running on my system, with the latter doing a quick-scan every day. Sure is nice to see it pop up at 8 every day telling me I don't have so much as a tracking cookie
