Quote from vipex123 :I half hope Senna to win, just so we can all see everyone say Maldonado can't drive and we can see how stupid the accusations are!

In realistic terms, Hamilton will be super fast as usual but I expect Schumacher to be somewhere near the front. That is if he doesn't destroy another car infront of him of Mercedes mess up again.

Yeah, I'll accuse him of deliberately driving into another car in a temper today, Worst driver in formula 1 strikes again

Are your speakers plugged into the creative card or the audiogram's line out?

It would help if you put a more technical detail about your hardware than "thingy". The problem you're getting is with the "latency" which is measured in milliseconds. The higher the latency, the further behind the response is from the hardware. It is a problem with the hardware and the drivers and the better your stuff, the lower the latency (it's not a world away from gaming "lag" in principle). You will not get anything decent from an onboard audio chip for instance.

You could try this application http://www.asio4all.com/

Quote from amp88 :Low quality cap from BBC Forum stream of the Williams smoke. Seemingly under control now.

edit: BBC reporting the fire was caused by a KERS explosion and that there are injuries but no more information.

It's called getting rid of the evidence

Pastor Maldonado, worst driver in F1, can only win a race when they slow everyone down with stupid tyres (or with whatever cheat they just torched haha ;-) )

HRT aren't really in formula 1 but nevertheless, he hasn't pulled the dick moves that Maldonado has.

His time is slowest than the slowest qualifying time in 2009 for that circuit. Just to put this year's formula 1 in context. I don't think "who has the least shit time with tyres" is a great yard stick for a driver's competency nor is a one off qualifying slot disproving of the statement.

Yeah, why let someone back who is just going to come straight back in and start behaving in exactly the same manner that got them banned.

Quote from BlueFlame :Just like I said here. Don't read the news but y'all just ignored it.

There's been no torture. It's beatings. Which some of these unruly people deserve. It's no different to any other riot/civil unrest situation, people just want another Libya situation so the media and select people are sensationalizing the problems.

It wasn't just Hill that said he never felt unsafe either, it was everyone in the F1 frat that had been saying it, and I don't recall seeing armed guards at the GP or even anything close to that kind of security. Considering the protests of the burning F1 adverts etc you'd of thought they would of done something, but as we saw in London, kids with nothing better to do are just gonna burn shit and be insolent to the authorities.

Don't you find it ironic that the only team that seemingly had a 'problem' with being in Bahrain was Force India, who decided to fly a guy home for no real reason? Rumours were is that he was attacked in a car, but the reality is, that didn't happen. So they made something up to make it seem bad and then still continued in the GP weekend apart from FP2. If their colleagues got attacked you'd assume they'd pull out ASAP to make sure it didn't happen to others.

They weren't the only team.

Quote from spankmeyer :It's justified to overthrow violent oppressors.

Killing rarely leads to anything positive in the long run.

Overthrowing oppressors doesn't happen unless people get killed.

Quote from deggis :Are they? For example last year the big Pearl Roundabout demonstrations were peaceful until the moment government fake police forces responded with violence. With few exceptions this pattern has probably continued since. I guess you're also going to claim that they are just not going to drag protesters into jails (and several of them torturing to death).

They weren't but they are now

However, it is justified to kill violent oppressors.

I voted no but i think there is an exception on the 3 lap demo servers because of the amount of beginners and length of the race. Normally, navigating the effects of accidents are a part of motor racing. I'd prefer it if people who spectate aren't allowed to rejoin the race. I think if any auto spectating goes on it should be because the car is too damaged and FUBAR.

Quote from BlueFlame :Well ironically before all the civil unrest Bahrain was one of the safest countries in the middle east. So I wouldn't talk about oppression quite so flippantly. The students in London last summer were close to being tear-gassed, but I don't see the UK as an oppressive autocracy do you?

If the civilians are being violent, then you must respond accordingly, which is what they are doing, they're not just going into random houses tear-gassing kids ffs.

Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Syria were all "safer" before their uprising. What's your point? Nobody should rise up against oppression ever in case it puts the fate of a grand prix in question? and show me your evidence for your assertion that British students were close to being tear gassed.

Quote :The escalation of unrest comes amid the retrial of 20 doctors and nurses who were convicted of trying to overthrow the government by treating demonstrators injured in last year's protests. The original prosecution of the medics brought widespread international condemnation.

Quote from BlueFlame :It's not an idiotic case at all. Just because it's different to the masses doesn't make it idiotic.

How do you support your friends in need? Just **** off and leave them to sort it out? No, you give them economic support. Which is what the F1 event does.

Abandoning the event just shows that the rest of the world don't care about Bahrain and their problems, being there shows support by F1 saying (what ever happens to you Bahrain, we respect you enough to keep coming back anyway).

Not bothering to turn up just makes things worse from a diplomatic point of view.

Judging by previous threads I've read on here, I can say that you agreeing it with it confirms it as idiotic without the need for explaining to you how money distribution works in an oppressive autocracy that sends armoured cars in weekly to tear gas it's poor neighbourhoods.
