Do you think that's how Wal-Mart (or any other large corporation) work out what they pay their shop staff?

Don't know whether this has any sway over attendance but I have never been able to find any of the pure racing servers in the server list.

Advice? Half full servers are generally better than full ones in demo. Don't take it to heart, you get idiots in every game and it's not like that all the time.

Wasn't aware I could do that. Thanks

Quote from cargame.nl :Huh? Trackmania?

Did they changed something? In the first version its impossible to collide with each other because other players act like ghost cars

If something really spams then its the LFS chat in general on busy servers.

.

Don't know about that. I mean, I when someone enters into a server, I do not need to know about their LFS Experience, Rank, that their skin wasn't found on LFS world, when they last raced, how fast they were down a straight. That stuff is kinda spammy.

Quote from JO53PHS :Although these people are more likely to care if someone bumped them off, since they are racing for championship points.

Granted and I am not criticising anyone in that thread because it's arguably all part of the gamesmanship. However, from what I can see, points were accrued in the CTRA league too (I never played) and whilst it's manageable for a championship with 7 rounds for that kind of moderation, it's a bit much to ask for daily races. Looking on that site they dealt with 4,000 reports, nearly a third of which the dismissed as unfounded. That's quite a whinge mountain.

Can see where cargame.nl is coming from. I was reading this thread http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=78053 last night, which is just from one race. I dread to think what an easy reporting system is like from daily races over multiple servers.

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Last race is not last play, nice try though. There are quite a few people on the forum who don't play the game.

Fine and I understand your reasons for doing so but people don't need to hear them multiple times a day.

Do you seriously post every day on the forum of a game you haven't played for 2 1/2 years?

Quote from Si Mclaren :First, know before you talk... At various races in this year, Hamilton had tire overheating problems...

How he avoided this? Changed the way how he drive.
In real life races, you rarely drives in the limit. You need to save tires and fuel, so you will be constant, not fast.

Second, there is a reason why Scawen is doing new tire physics... The overheating problem is not new, Scawen found it and is working on new tire physics to fix that problem...

Third, the overheating problem is not so big when you can control the car... If you are a bad driver, you will overheat tires and lose control quickly, but you practice, you will handle the temperature and car easily and naturally...

Quote from SennaSS :Its the HEAT side of it that should not be in place its patheticly unrealistic ... tyres are not made from BUBBLE GUM

its so poor it not even funny!

I have a friend who got lfs he is a real formula 2 champion himself try out Lfs and he couldnt believe how poor its tyre heat physics were.

Its very poor and im just pointing it out froma real racing drivers point of view.. if you push to the limit you get red hot tyres within laps! which isnt the idea of a sim its meant to be realistic isnt it!?!

Got any replays? It'd be at least interesting see how he attacks the game

He would have done a better job of governing the country if he hadn't have sat around faffing around with virtual tyre physics all the time?

Quote from Yuri Laszlo :Why does Scawen speak in the third person?

It's signed "LFS Developers" as in the statement is from all of them not an individual. That's why it's written like that.

This is a good point. It happens with other games though. The developers stopped adding new colour balls to Snooker and everyone lost interest and stopped playing.
