Man, buy a lisence. If you enjoy single player or demo play in the cars offered, you will absolutly LOVE having the full version. The cars are better, the tracks are better, the competition is better, the sky is more blue.
Not saying you'll never run into similar situations, but 90 % of the time, you'll be at the extreme other end of the spectrum, with people who don't want to crash, don't want to crash you, and will even help you out with the slightest provocation.
All this talk did make me want to try rFactor for myself.
downloaded the multiplayer test demo, loaded it, hit start.
Nothing. Did the firewall test, no connection, just endless waiting.
Checked the 'test forum' and didn't see specific info.
I'm not using a router, am using zone alarm.
I've read the 'cars we want to see in S3' threads, but I'm curious -
Have the dev's ever even hinted as to what might be in the works for the future ( regarding different cars/tracks) ?
Mentally, at least. I was rather surprised when I started asking around on
a certain FPS game how old people were. A large number were in their 30s. illepall
I agree with everyone else here, LFS is the only game I play online on a regular basis.
Would you consider creating a brief 'how to' guide using Bryce ?
I'm not looking for the most sublte secrets of fine rendering, more of a 'here's how I make a basic render - these files need to go here, you then import this to here, etc."
I understand it would be better to learn all the basics of bryce, but I ZERO motivation to spend weeks creating a ball or a tree.
I'd rather start with a lame render and work towards making it better.
Have to agree with you, too. I've owned the game for 3 years now, and, while I do get burnt out from time to time, taking a month or two seems to fixe that. Right now I'm playing after a 3 month break, and I'm stunned at how much fun the game is....AGAIN.
