Jakg. The standard brakes are more than good enough for anything you'll ever do on the road, you'll have no use what so ever for cold performance, whatever the hell that means.
If you want the brakes becasue of the name or so you can tell people you have -insert awesome brakes - then just say so it will make conversations like this go quicker.
edit: I know that sounds harsh but guy, you have no need for better brakes and if you just want them just becasue, then thats basically the same reason why the MG forum users want them (there is nothing wrong with that reason). Don't mask it in this cold perforamce none sense, that just makes you look like a tool.
Before you start posting everywhere and about everything, check out the other sections of the forum AND the search function!
There is already a section for wheels and a section for hardware and posts already started about everything you've posted so far. Both your wheel posts are in the wrong section as well as the posting your pc thread, which is already in the hardware section.
I didn't think it was against the rules? I thought the number of moves you can make was in the braking zones. It probably wasn't the best of things to do but not illegal.
And I'd rather see much less steward/after race penalty intervention in F1 anyway, let them race it out.
When you haven't got an argument, call them fanboys
You're here on the forum, so that kind of makes you a fanboy. You can call them more of a fanboy than you are but then you going to have to split people up into fanboy levels:
Fanboy level 1 - game forum user
Fanboy level 10 - has named their children Scavier
Then you could say things like, OMG you're a fanboy level 6, you're so sad, I'm only a level 2, but that's really pathetic.
Hahahahhaa, saying your not a keyboard warrior and that you speak your mind and all that bollocks is meaningless cause your saying it on the internet, just like the people your saying it too.
Go back to your first post about the van that you were 100% for sure going to modify, no matter how long it took or how much cash it took and no matter what anyone said, cause you wanted to do something different.
Then look through all the other things you're going to do, all the cars you nearly got/going to get and then modify those, that nice 205 track day car, thats pretty sweet.
All that on the wage you get, but you don't have a job cause if you did you'd get rid of the van -> return to start and repeat.
Thought you were keeping it and pimiping it to within an inch of it's life, now you're going to bin it?
You sound like someone who is starting out in engineering or being a mechanic so you're around all the older guys who shoot the shit about how the French only use 1 colour for the wiring or the head gaskets always go in this car and they are never the same after the're fixed, blah, blah....
You're too young to know anything about a 205 so someone has spun you that and know your repeating it to us.
Guy, talk about what you know. You have your fist car, you have all these plans (which is good) but don't piss it away on a shitty van, and yes I know you can do the work yourself after work, but it's still not worth it.
And you'd pay £300 a month on insurance! I doubt that, time to get more realistic, try something in the middle of a van and an S13.
Not many people not having a taste for modifying cars? In a thread about cars, for people to post pictures and discuss their cars and the modifications they've made, on a forum for a driving game, on the internet jam packed with other games about driving, some with modifications as an actual point of the game and all the websites dedicated to nothing but modifying cars, just for people who do nothing but modify their car and then tell everyone else who modifies their car what they've done and how to do it........not to mention all the magazines and TV shows who's sole purpose for being is to please people who modify cars!
Yeah, not many people are into pimping their ride.
Not really. You might need to just prime the system again to get it started. I ran out of diesel and she started fine, didn't need to do anything other than put some fuel in the tank and so did my brothers car.
Don't believe every nightmare story or piece of advice you hear. If you know you running low and it stops then stop straight away and don't try and start it until you filled up.
....all this half/full tank, energy saving tyres is bollocks, you're only be looking at a tiny saving, just drive in a more economical way.
