Nice, it's a shame they have all been suggested before.

Suggested improvements log [READ before making a new thread]

The barrier thing is a bug and is on the list to be fixed, been there for a loooooong time though.
The free roaming thing cannot be accomplished with the current graphics/physics engine and any addition for cruising would be highly controversial (I can't see it happening).
Not all cars in real life have TC or ABS or rear wings that create down force. The XFG for example would never have TC or rear downforce.

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Eh... did you not read?

Nah, downloading some stuff and I couldn't be arsed waiting for the forum to load.

You've missed the point totally.

If you want to help someone then that’s great, if you take the time out to find some help then that’s even better but, in this case, if you can't even be arsed to watch the video because it could be a waste of time, then how is that helping.

You got lucky because the video was relevant, but you had no idea that was the case when you posted it.

All I'm saying is that it's a good idea to be sure about what you're posting, even more so when helping out someone who doesn't know know much because it could totally throw them off.

What I mean is, if you don't read an articale or don't watch a video then post it as help how do you know it's actually going to help.

And if you didn't want to waste your own time by watching it because it could have been a waste of time, why waste everyone elses?

If you want to help then you really need to know what it is you're posting.

It's very handy to show someone who doesn't know what to do, I don't believe that you didn't watch it cause it could have been anything at all, and why would you post a link for something that you have no idea about cause you didn't watch it that’s not even a little bit helpful.

Quote from S14 DRIFT :There is a way..

Dunno if it works.

Quote from Jakg :You can't - easiest way is to unplug the PC from the mains, take out the onboard battery and leave it.

Or do reset the CMOS.

That video shows you how to reset the CMOS.

I don't understand why people use Vista as an excuse for something, then others accept that and go "ah, Vista, yeah no wonder you were having trouble.."

I have Vista and have never had any problems, maybe you're all using a different version to me?

Quote from Töki (HUN) :Are you a massive Hamilton fanboy?...

You are just as bad as a fanboy, just the opposite, an anti-fanboy, so I wouldn't start throwing that around and trying to put people down with it as you're exactly the same.

Good race, hopefully Vettel can pull it off, wish F1 was always like this.

It's just, if you want to post this kind of stuff then you have to accept that people will tell you what they think.

Lerts I'm sure someone has said this before in this ridiculous thread but.......if you post none sense and bullshit people will tell you, what else do you expect?

It's nothing to do with people liking you, disliking you or having any sort of opinion about you at all.

Quote from WF07 :Would have been in game, using the most local one to me (european) - UK. It says "0.5Z"

So... a re-install won't help?

No you misunderstand what he's trying to say.

When you install a game it adds data to the registry in windows as well as the game files. LFS only puts the game files onto your PC, it doesn't add any other information so you don't really install or uninstall LFS.

It's just a small point......

Just try downloading it again, "install" it and see if it works, it's the easiest thing to try.

I didn't say he said anything incorrect, just that he got on my tits.

James Allen was getting on my tits during that session, he kept banging on about how much Schumaher was helping the team still and that you could still he his competitive edge, blah, blah...

Then that most of the Torro Rosso were ex-minardi and how great it was for them being such a small team and having no money and being looked down on by the rest, blah, blah.... what a cock!

If you don't know what it is how would you know if you've been cheated out of it?

RAID has different levels depending on how many drives you have and what you need/want. As you have 2 drives you'll have either 0 or 1.

RAID 0 is where the 2 harddrives act and work as 1 drive to improve speed.
RAID 1 is where you have 2 harddrives and the second mirrors the other as a backup.

The partition(s) could be for the OS or to keep important files incase there is a problem, it all depends on how it's been set up.

Before you go doing any of that just have a look to see if it has onbaord LAN, which I'm 99% sure it has, you'll save yourself loads of time and hassle from your Dad.

Quote from sam93 :I haven't really had a look at the layout of the back, it must have a onboard ethernet port as it states the speeds of the ethernet on the specs....

Should really be the first thing to check, the computer and the box/spec list, you're the one there, we can't come look at it for you.

If your new PC doesn't have an ethernet port then it's shit.

Most (all) new motherboards have onboard LAN, my old, ooold PC needed a network card but all the ones since have had onboard.

...and like Jakg said, how do you connect it to the router

I like it, looks nice.....looks expensive.

It's not big, around the same size as the Antec 900 (a little longer I think) normal size I'd say.

I wouldn't take anything off, unless it’s a nice case on the inside.

Quote from Jordan2007 :Lfs is a simulator....

Click the link and read the first line.

If you want cruise specific additions then you've probably brought the wrong game and you're also going to very, very dissapointed.

If crusing ever took over then it would be the death of LFS so I don't even want to think about that.

Quote from Racer325 :2 cpus, with means 3.20GHz is pretty good, maybe another gig of ram wouldnt hurt.

It just means he's got dual core 1.6Ghz cpu, 2 cpu's yes but you don't add up the Ghz, it's still just 1.6Ghz.

Meh.

I thought that if a driver is on the outside trying to pass like that then the normal thing to do would be to edge them to the kerbs or grass, give him no where to go. I'm pretty sure there wasn't any contact at that point.

I don't think Kimi did anything wrong, thats even if he meant to do that, he could have just run wide. I didn't even think that was an issue.

I have an Antec 900. Each fan has a 3way switch so you can set the speed of each fan. Unfortunately they are not external on the case.

I got an additional fan for the side panel and the cable is long enough to put the switch for the side panel and rear fan through the water cooling holes at the back of the case....see pic.

Damn it. They really don't help them selves some times, I'd like to watch a track race that isn't decided in a small room by dumbasses.

Shit, that’s such a disappointment for F1.
