No. When you go to download the driver you're asked what series card you have.

The older cards have probably been optimized as much as they can be, the newer cards use different, newer technology, architecture, etc, etc and are just starting out thier optimization, tweaks, fix and whatever else cycle.

The newer cards can do more things, DX10 for example, which the older cards simply cannot, so why update them with stuff they cannot use.

ITV did miss out the first 2 minuntes of the first session then about 4 or 5 minutes of the second one because they'd gone to adverts a shit times.

That’s called a crack and it's illegal. A patch is something that game developers make and release to update or fix the game.

Just in case there are other question, LFS is not like NFS or Gran Turisomo, not even close.

No arcade modes, no NOS, no engine mods, no body kit upgrades or tribal paint jobs. Also no adding in additional cars or tracks.

Just you the car to setup and the track.

You don't stick anything to anything.

You put a layer of thermal paste onto the CPU then mount the heat sink. If you buy a retail CPU (one with a heat sink and fan) the heat sink would normally be pre-applied with thermal paste so you'd not have to worry about it.

The rest is just plugging cables into things, pretty easy but daunting if you've never done it.

The main benefit that comes from building it yourself is that you can put whatever bits you want in there and tailor it exactly to your price range and needs.

You can't be anonymous in S2 because your username (lerts) comes up when you enter, get a PB or leave so it doesn't really matter what your display name is as people still know it's you.

The fans just replace the warm air (heated up by all the hot gubbins inside) inside your case with cool(er) air from outside. The cooling effect totally depends on the temperature in your room; the fans don't really cool the incoming air at all.
