I don't think it played any part at all in finishing positions of the race.

Its just crappy that the result is not the result as we have to wait to be sure, it just makes F1 a bit more rubbish.

.....anyway.

Was a great finish, really nerve hammering. Shame Kimi lost it, not a great race and it's a shame it takes rain to make it interesting.

I read some good stuff about the ATI's 4850 (around £130), it matched Nvidia's 9800GTX and is about £40 cheaper.

I'd also go for the Intel E8200. Quad cores are nice but only gain with applications/games that use all four cores.

Not really kept up with enough to go into detail, I'm sure the one will be around soon tho.

Guy come on, if you want a better gaming rig you're going to need to spend more than £70 on the graphics card, you're going to need to at least double that.

Get a cheaper motherboard, CPU and harddrive if you're on a budget....what is your budget?

It doesn't automatically do anything you have to set it up to do something, you're making it sound like there is nothing you can do or you have no choice in the matter, you only fill up with as much, as little or none at all.

Not sure what that means but just look at the picture, it has 4 RAM slots. Might mean single and dual channel I guess, dual channel basically means if you have a matching pair of RAM sticks it works faster (2, 1gig sticks for example, if you added a 3rd it would revert to single channel) can't say I've really noticed a difference.

If you look at the picture you can see 4 RAM slots, the red and yellow things.

....and as for Intel nothing being as good as AMD, I don't think you'd find a balanced argument for that at the moment. Intel are quiet a distance in front right now but none of that matters, all thats really important is which one you prefer.

Well LFS S2 is a racing sim so just make sure you're buying the right game before you do anything, as you could be disappointed if you by it for cruising, only to find you get the same kind of cruising in S2 but this time you've paid money for it.

And as people have said, myself included in other threads, it would be best to discuss cruising related issues on cruising forums as it is an unoffcial add-on, so no offcial support or help can be found here and tends to cause problems.

I'm not going to get into the one nationality only, that’s your choice but will kind of limit things but other teams do that so, meh. And I think it’s the late decision that makes it look bad.

Being international has nothing to do with people either not wanting to do things or not putting enough into the team, that’s totally down to the type of person you let into the team and the example that is set by the rest of the people already in the team.

You need to get the right people together and make a big effort to get things working and that needs to come from everyone, being from different countries has nothing to do with no one putting the effort in.

You need to tell us what CPU, RAM and graphics card you have. That way we'll know what kind of FPS you should be expecting and if there is a problem.

Guy people can only help you up to a certain point, looking for and finding server names is probably a one man job, you don't need to come and ask people for that...again.

And cruising is best kept to the forums and websites that I'm sure the bigger servers have (they are most likely displayed when you enter a server) so if you have anymore questions about cruising then go to those forums as they a 100% dedicated to that topic.

LFS racing, this forum and cruising don't mix well and are best left well apart.

You cannot share an S1 or S2 account.

You can unlock LFS on more than 1 computer but that is for a single account, if your brother wants a seperate account and wants to race online then you or he will need to buy S1 or S2.

Reinstall LFS Get the file from your copy, might be running a different version to me.
