It's still better than one.

You stretching quite far now. People who would do that would probably ram people anyway. Also in demo only XRG has ABS. The two more popular cars (FBM and XFG don't have it)

Quote from J03130 :Instead of being a sarcastic smart-ass just be helpful and say "no, no more patches" !

Umm, what? There will probably be patches actually.

Besided there were many non-sarcastic non-smartass answers to that question already, so I decided to take another approach this time.

But why is that a bad thing?

Quote from L@gger :Didnt understood what u mean now

Braking is easier means that less people fail at it which means that racing is closer.

I don't really see why more people being able to brake properly is such a bad thing.

Quote from LiMiTED :What has happened to the Test-Patch forum?
Will there be no more test-patches until a final release?

What happened to reading?
Is there no more reading the thread in this forum?

Quote from L@gger :braking is the hardest part of racing. There were only few good racers that could brake like they wanted. Now there are much more people because braking is just much easier

Which pretty much equals to closer racing. Is that a bad thing?

You can't use Hamachi with LFS afaik. The Hamachi IPs are blocked. You don't need Hamachi to play with your friends anyway.

Well, don't race without ABS then?

I agree. Pitting needs a lot of improvements. At the moment you want to avoid pitting as much as you can because it will take so long so that any advantage of for example lighter car with less fuel is negated.

Quote from Craig010 :So could this mean... as testing is complete for now, that if there are no more problems, we could soon see S3?

It just means that the current patch is now officially released and there is no test patches to test. Test patch section will be back when there are new test patches.
So no, it doesn't mean S3 will be soon here.

It's hidden because there is no need for it right now.

I present you a case in point: a person from the Internet

Almost all modern games (including LFS) support widescreen.

And TN is not that bad as people on the Internet make it seem. For most people it's fine.

I guess the next letter/number was already taken by the Scirocco/new physics patch

You can disable ABS in the car setup.

Quote from 5-6-ACE :ah thanks...I didnt do it before the update so I didnt think to looks

thanks

It defaults to 'yes' every time you update, because you might have a firewall that needs a confirmation for a new version and it could potentially make LFS/your computer crash/behave oddly.

Quote from pearcy_2k7 :Im not really clear on whats happening tbh.

Z25 will be the 'official' patch until the Scirocco / new physics patch will be released. Which mean it will be on the front page of lfs.net instead of just here in the test patch section. That means there needs to be a check that there are no problems with it.

Quote from Inouva :Bad luck , based on the info about the cars of lfs and the year they are based
they dont have a gear indicator, is the same about the red light to shift up
and dont come to the "H shifter" is ridicules that argument

The shift light is different. You don't need it to know when to shift, it was only there to help out. No matter what hardware you own, you can still know the right shift position.
But with gears if you don't have a h-shifter there is nothing to tell you what gear you are in.

I have had this shifter for over 3 years now. My feelings are quite the same as yours. The shifter feels nice and it's quite "real car" -like. The long throw took some time to get used to and it probably is not the fastest way to shift though.

I had a bit of a problem with the mounting clamps. My desk is so thick that the clamps wouldn't fit. The desk fit's between the two metal bars, but the the round plate and the rubber bit at the end of the screw wouldn't. I took the plate off to make it fit. Now the screw is directly in contact with underside of my desk, which has left big marks :worried: So definently a thing to check out before buying.

As for the plates. I got the ultimate pack, but they had some manufacturing problem with the sequential plate at the time, so I didn't get it (I could have backordered it for free later, but I kind of forgot about it). I switched the plates around at first, but later I have just had the 6+R plate on all the time and I have used my DFPs stick for sequential shifting.

Quote from Inouva :Remove from the road cars de gear indicator (Already do it turning the colors into black ) becuase if removed the "Red dot shift up" remove the "Gear indicator" to.

Then people without H-shifters wouldn't know what the gear is.

Quote from PioneerLv :EDIT: I've restarted my router and after that it was okay with Z version, but with Z22 problem is here again.

It could be that large amount of successive UDP packets messes up your router, which causes everything to lag after that. Does everything else lag too after you run Z22? You could also try if some other similar thing in other programs causes the same. Any game with a server browser should do it, they probably use a system similar to Z22's system.
