Kind of sad to see how our fast Belgian D'ambrosio is barely getting attention, while clearly showing his speed (also before in the season with the friday tests in a Virgin F1). But Perez or Buurman or Maldonado get more attention (and more likely a seat cause they bring in cash).

Webber crashing out Alonso anyone ? I hope not though.
To me all deserve to win, though for some reason I'll be pro-Alonso. He has some good humor, has balls for racing (like Hamilton) and has won the most races this season (5). Red Bull has the constructers title already.

nfinity eSports Racing are very pleased to have Australian karter Mitchell Mcleod join the iRacing squad, aswell as teaming up with very
old friends Scott, Josh and the other aussie's racers we currently
employ.
Mitchell's pace within the simulators is visible with him already taking
3rd in the iRacing.com V8 Supercar championship last season and is on the
verge of gaining the prestigious pro license.
We all wish him a pleasant and enjoyable stay... [insert evil laughter here]
He also managed to get nfinity eSports Racing and his Riley DP on the Grand-Am Road Racing website, we all very proud to see our car on the frontpage! http://www.grand-am.com
Nasty crash from Petrov and not one single medic checking up on him if he is allright... Among other things, Korea GP clearly has a lot of work to do and came of very well today (especially seeing the conditions and what might have happened).
Nevertheless, a nice track and I hope it gets improved (but please step down of the building block plans and such!).
Great race too, boring and "oh noez" at first but then things got going.
Great news reached us from the depths of iRacing, USA and VWyatt Gooden his Facebook fanpage as our dear nfinity eSports racer just was crowned VW Jetta TDI Cup 'Rookie of the Year' Champion, this also by finishing 2nd in the last race and 3rd in the overall championship! Congratulations Gooden, way to represent simracing into the real racing world (as Wyatt won this racing cup seat by winning the online VW Jetta TDI championship in iRacing.com)!
Now, not to hijack your topic, but what are people's experiences and / or opinions on the DFGT ? I'm looking for a new wheel (for real this time ) and the DFGT seems in a much more appropiate priceclass than the G27 (129 vs 350 euros). Opinions please ?
Good very first F1 training session of the Belgian newcomer Jérôme D'Ambrosio, 21st time clocked with a Virgin, being aside Heiki the best of the new teams!
Hopefuly he can get a positive evalution and most of all get the sponsorship stuff sorted out and we finally might see a Belgian racing F1 again!
We are pleased to annouch that László "Night_racer" Kotrocz has joined our mad family and his long time friend Revenger. László was originally from 3id gaming but has decided to come join Bela and the rest of the nfinity tribe for the coming future. we all wish him a warm welcome and hope he enjoys his time here within the nutters house. Happy Birthday to us!
The Gronkwood Festival of Speed... nfinity eSports is over one year old and we celebrated this happening with a special event at the Fabulous Thompson International track in the Legend Ford car (iRacing). A very fun, good and fast event was hosted with nfinity's finest as well as many iRacing friends!
* This might be the wrong car on the wrong track, I blame Tukko.
Some more wins are to be noted in iRacing, among which for example the SSCA Daytona 300 (article here). Wyatt Gooden is still going strong in the VW TDI Jetta Cup, Duck blew up his Commodore engine and some other stuff I forgot about. Buutttt nfinity eSports is of course still represented in LFS where our latest addition to the tribe, László "Night_racer" Kotrocz, showed his new spray of paint nicely in the Tiger Express Motorsport's birthday endurance race by taking a close win! (article here). Happy Birthday TEM !
Now I need a beer as this is news updating thing is exhausting.
Is there a team out there who could use another racer for the 2011 season ?
I'm looking for reasons to get back active in LFS (yes, again) but nfinity eSports is currently a bit too focused on iRacing only. So an attempt to get us going for GTAL won't work, like last year too badly...
I'm GMT+2 currently, winter period GMT+1. I can do most of the 3 hour races, some stints on the longer races depending on when. I suck badly in the FZR so my preference would go out to the XRR or FXR. And no, I don't mind the FXR at all. Unlike my team name might hint, I am not an alien. But with training I do got pace and in general I'm a good in race starts and tyre saving (althought that also might be because of slowness ). I also have a longterm and healthy reputation of being a very fair and clean racer, speaks for itself as I'm in nfinity eSports but guess I'll just mention it. Drop me a PM with some info of your team or such if you would be interested, thanks!
2011 seaons looks good otherwise. Curious on the calendar though... Originality where are thou...
Fastest in practice, great qualify and cherry on the pie a win, already so fast in the season! Simracers can rapidly transform into excellent competitive real life racers! Grats!
MSC: Needs to tone down and accept being midfield. With Kubica I see no error done, but with Massa I kind of see MSC in fault. It was not needed to "wave" like that or to try to hold on so heavy, afterall he's Massa's ex-personal coach too and 1.8 - 2.4 secs slower than Massa... I did not understood why they let MSC drive so long on the soft (green) tyres after that double fast stop ?! He did like 30 laps on them while they barely last 15-17 laps! Rosberg, where are thou ?!
Red Bull: Another teamstrategy **** up + unreliability. After Turkey and now, I do not see them becoming champion. They also seem to have lost their racing pace advantage with Ferrari, Mclaren and even Renault being as fast as them.
Mclaren: Nicely done. All went by plan, some good moves. I didn't really like the Alonso - Button pass, damn Lotus. But it was clean and exciting.
Ferrari: Alonso! He pushes the car like a champion should and can. Massa really lets me down. Silly errors and not really having the right pace. Stuck for too long behind others losing so much precious time. Alonso got a few bad luck moments though; the Lotus pass, something with a Torro Rosso when Hamilton pitted to which Alonso lost all his time of this two fastest laps in a row and got behind Hamilton and in front of Button again, a real shame.
Kubica: Did a nice drive, got a bit unlucky but showed again that he truly can race. Fastest laps also with damaged front wing! Class. His pit entry was very dangerous though, he could easily have waited and should have.
Excellent race! We need more tracks like these. Hockenheim, Silverstone, Montreal, Paul Ricard, ect... !
Tristan: Did you just say Microprose's beautiful GP2 ?! *love*
