thx for replys guys... i have since tried to connect and i have access again.... when i got in there i asked some of the regulars what was going on most didnt know what i was talking about (conspirecy???) but a couple of drivers said that my connection was sending the "collision" message every millisecond and was therefore kicked... i didnt witness this as i was afk but before i left for afk i do recal such wierd goings on for a while so it all kind of makes sence now but getting a 24 hour ban has still got me stumped ..... anyway all sorted now i can race again on my fav FOX server so im off to go wreck some races ............. i mean .... "gizz runs away"... hehehehe it was a joke felas!!! jeeeez :P

im still taking R-R to court though for banning me its just not on it could have destroyed my racing carrer... ok maybe not but ya can see were this kind of thing can lead? discracfull :P

sorry bob im not thinking strait illepall as you say i have no problem in being kicked as i was afk for some considerable time and if im using up a slot that some guy could be racing with then sure kick away but its a 100% ban and be sure i will be taking R-R to court for this there was a case just like this in ........... heheheh just hope i can get it resolved ....

I have been racing on the redline racing server (fox BL1) no for some time, today i was racing i pitted and was tweaking the car setup then got a phone call, admitidly i was gone from the game for about 1 hour and when i returned i was logged out of the server so i try to join and im refused a connection????? now please remember that i was pitted and IN THE SETUP screen Hence no car on track, now if it was the time i was away and i was taking up a slot then fine kick me but it looks like im banned .... as i say i was in the garage at the time of leaving the comp unatended so its not that a new race was started and i caused a pileup because i was not active on the track???

if i have upset someone please let me know but i carnt see how, everyone on there i race with daily so they know im no wrecker can this be resolved????

due to RL commitments i had to abondon LFS for a few months which drove me near insanity illepall but with that all behind me now ive dusted the the momo off hit the track again first time iv run the new version and im impressed (as i knew i would be) the BF1 is just magic getting used to that nicely now, a nice step up from the FV8 witch i raced 99.9% of the time... just gotta get to work on the setups now, the kids dunno who there dad is again (saying that im not sure i do ) basicly loving being back had some grate racing last night on BF1 servers

anyway congrats to the dev team for creating sutch a masterpeice

scawen..... ive done many jobs like this and come across sutch problems i just replace the valve live!!! ok you get a bit wet bit it takes 3 mins if your set up and get a mate or ya missus by the side of you nad just go through the drill

get your new tap "OPEN THE TAP" cut the pipe ASAP put on the new tap, and as its open its not holding any pressure back so its not harde to possition then fitt up, when its on close the tape and there ya go just fit the other end in when your ready ...

ive done a few like this as i say you get wett and it COLD and the pressure is quiet high but it getts the job done qick just make sure you kmnow what your going to do before you go insane with the saw, pipe cutter.....:P

im afraid not but ill ask santanas tonight if i see him, although im not sure weather to post it anyway as its actualy ambarassing as i flew off 2 laps before the end while trying to push that little bit to hard grate racing though

well #1 we are all using the wrong word here its no so much a "block" its a "obstruction" end story, now ok there are different types of racing with varying levels of contact "F1 and BTCC", but the obstruction of another driver wrong, i dont race in RL myself but me and the oldman look after a race car for a good friend and us being on the recieving end of this a few times i know to be true..


just last night i was racing the FO8 and a battle opened up between me and santanas, now it took me many attemts to get passed him even on corners i knew my car was faster, and it looked the same thing for him when i was leading..

you DONT have to obstruct a driver to hold him back, if your slower on the straits well i got news for ya "this racing", if you had a slower exit from the last corner than the car behind well say goodbye to your position...

if you class your self as "pretty quick" medioker what ever then you will know that come off that racing line and your dropping bags of time, last night santanas drove perfectly and for me to pass him i had to have a hell of a lot of extra speed to get past as he put his car in such a position i really had to come off the line , this means breaking spots go out the window and same for turn in points and power on points... a couple of times i got along side him but due to the change of line i couldnt finish the monouver...

he didnt "block/obstruct" me once in several races but he made me wrk for every attemt, thats racing, obstruction is NFS stuff sorry but thats the truth... just look at a few of the F1 races gone by in the last few months, drivers being over taken on the strait and they dont move they let it happen, if there faster then there going to overtake if you made a mistake in the last turn and exit with a lower speed they will overtake, this "block" rule IMHO is a load of bull, no offence you can defend your possition without driving like someone out of tango and cash....

hehe first few laps you will bugger the the gear changes up but thats why i dont do it unless i know the set well enough, but its great for learning to keep the car tight in corners and under breaking as you have to rely on the feeling of the car, and i dont even have FF illepall hehehe but you would be suprised at what you can feel..

ive been hearing lots about it but i havent took the time to check it out yet, but from what i have been hearing it should be fun and its GREAT to see everyone have a go (countrys) and funding is not going to be the be all and end all like F1,...

ill check it out now, i think im on holiday on race day but ill check if not i might pop down ticket prices seem reasonable too if anyone else decides to go we will have to set a meeting point Bagzee first at the burger bar

well im in the middle here


when i first started i was glued to the F9 view but i scrubbed that as it was efecting my driving, as for the speedo i check frequently in given corners to make sure im up to speed, i agree completly with the sound of the revs as there a a few things that can efect this and imo its not the most efective way but we are all diferent ...

as for the sound of the car gripping in corners is also vital, 9x out of 10 you can correct the car if your pushing it to hard just by the audio given off the tires, i only drive the FO8 and the good thing about that car there is big difference in sound when the car is gripping and when its sliding...

BUT!!!

once i have a setup roughly where i want it to be and can drive it well i then turn all sound OFF!, then i do about 20-30 laps depending on the track with no sound, this is simply for car control as there are NO audio aids you HAVE to learn how to feel the car, and its actulay quite suprising how much you can feel, by doing this i can guage exactly whn the bac end is going to give me jip or the front end comes loose under breaking and turning in,..

this coupled with the sounds given off your tires helps me a great deal in pushing it to the max, although saying that im yet to a perfect lap

why carnt you uninstall it? what is it doing?/saying?


conection loss..

are you on dial up or DSL/CABLE, if your on DSL/CABLE sounds like a USB problem to me if your modem/router is hooked up via USB...

so if your inet conectin is USB check the bios and make sure there are know silly options set.....

if you really want to to make sure you have RESET the board, power of from the mains but still pluged in , open her up and remove the battery, then remove the power lead from the pc, leaver for about 30 mins to be sure pop your lead back in then pop the battery back in and start up....

as for the ZA not uninstaling we need to know what its doing or saying

doing a few tweaks to my FO8 set....

in your qest for car data do you know if the under tray on the FO8 is actualy functioning??? I.E is worth me lowering the ride a few mil?? it doesnt seem to change in the setup screen when adjusting ride height...

thought i would ask first before i devote another 4 hours of testing illepall :eclipseeh

a bit basic but i thought it maybe worth a mention....

split times....

it would be nice if the devs worked it so that if your split time is faster than the previous lap it would pop up on your screen in a different colour...

green if its faster
yellow if its exactly the same :Eyecrazy:
red if its slower...

basicly making it easyer in a race sitution/setup testing to see how you are progressing....

there could also be a option in the options screen to this this function...

E.G

Relative to fastest lap
relative to previous lap...

as i say just a quickie

you dont know how lucky you are my missus goes into fits when i have the racing on the tv the sound of the engines driver her up the wall, week ends are a hoot when the F1 is on as i get the whole house to myself ..

although somtimes if she is in the room when im playing LFS a there is a t1 pileup she tends to find that amusing

some tracks you enter slow corners are speed and other you enter them at lower speeds, plus depending on how you have the car setup you will have to set your brakes around that, and if you are working on a DF car it throws even more into the fray the more DF you have them harder you can break generaly, but i find the TRACK its self is actualy offering differing amounts of grip, i dont know if this is even coded (dont think so) but say KY GP that track feels like your on grease, but thats proberably my imagination going nuts

bob in the missing files i only have the 3 .bat (for diff versions of win) and 3 ocx files...

could you point me in the rite direction for those DLL's its gota be worth a try

PS. the program doesnt load at all i just get that error as soon i hit the exe...

we have all ad this at some point, just last night i tweaked my breaks in a little expereiment i wasnt getting any flatspoting but wanted to try and push the breaking zones a little further...

i INCREASED the breaking power and tested, its just caused lots of problems and if anything the breaking zones had moved BACK!, so i decreased the breaking power and tested again, and my breaking zones actualy moved forward a tad ...

its been said there is a bug with the tire skid sound, so the car must have been sliding slightly even though i coulndt here anything...

slack those brakes of so as you go into the turn you can floor the brakes then you have learn to guage and lift off the brakes slowly as your going in the car will be fully ballanced and i have got another 2 laps out the setup before i see the tires start to get to warm.....
