there a million and one things i would like LFS to be and yes even in the grafix department, but IMO LFS hitts the bullseye on the grafix/performance ratio...

im hoping the devs update the grafix WITHIN the ratio that we have now, when S3 hits i WANT people saying "the grafix aint state of the art" that would please me , if we get start of the art grafix we all need state of the art systems, even then performace will take massive hits...

again there are a million things i would like to see in LFS and its FAR from perfect in everyway, no one could argue that one, but what we have on the current timeline and average computing power LFS hitts the spot PERFECT, all these things i would like in LFS mill come WITH time (well some of em, i think the gattaling gun on the front of my FV8 will be left out )

so putting it very simple

is LFS perfect...? NO!

does LFS hit a perfect ballance with todays average cpu power and todays gaming expectations....? IMO more than perfect, the devs have done somthing VERY rare with LFS

in regards to that i dont see a damn thing ron could have done and im not defending mclarean here, but i really dont...

i think the real question is what made him loose it in the first place.. was mclarean at fault there???? you know as mutch as me, i dont think we will ever know, i think the whole idea that alonso was being given less of a chance in pure rubbish imo, why the hell would mclarean pay such huge amounts of money in wages/contracts for alonso 2x wc and put all there efforts into the new kid???, doesnt add up...

this is what i think happened....

alonso joins mclarean as 2x WC, at renault he WAS #1, hamilton is getting a bit more of the lime light in the team than he first thought, he feels a bit pushed out, and its esculated from there, now how mutch lime light hamilton got is open for speculation but thats what happend IMHO.. if u watch hamilton before and after races and when he has retired, he's very friendly with the mechanics and so on, some people hate him for this and i dont think alonso liked it mutch either, he's just not that kinda guy, hence we got the new kid building a masave rapour up with the team and alonso feeling the heat, then the new kid is a bit quicker than he first thought, result total head fart!....

as regards the media there all a bunch of money mad liers, this hamilton thing makes me sick, and im fully aware that that quote fro alonso's manager has probably been twisted and edited to high heaven to get the effect the media want....

i dont think DC will be going anywere, he's still a great driver and hes getting a bit long in the tooth for starting another campaign with another team, plus i think RBR will be a force to be reckoned with next season

as for alonso, i really dont think he will be going anywhere but renault, dont ask me why its just a felling i get, everyone knows how quick he is but i think flavio is the only man to keep alonso alive in F1 now, but its weather alonso will want to walk back into renault...

i just carnt see him going to honda/ RB,... BMW?????? hhhhmmm close second but i dont think BMW would take him even if he is a 2x WC...

as regards it feeling REAL.. well i dont think GT looks anymore real than LFS and imo rfactor doesnt look as real as LFS thats a personal thing though...

i think what it is LFS doesnt have the blooming effects of the latest games, the lighting is not so dramatic, but again i think this plays into LFS's favour i would actualy be upset if in final S2 lfs went that way, reasons??? number i dont think it looks REALISTIC, and TWO boy do you pay for it performance wise...

if i could have anything in the grafix department changed it would be to scruff things up a tad, minimal impact on system req's and i think it would do wonders for the realatiy factor... apart from that im happy

after many years of good service it just packed in, nothing would see it in windows (tried 3 different comps) so dismantled it to check for loose wires and what have you and all fine... so new wheel i gues but with the youngest daughter very ill money is needed for more imortant things, but a few more weeks of putting in the over time ill be back

it seems all here (at least who have posted) agree that the grafix side of LFS is less important than the physics side, i just hope and pray the devs carry on walking the same road, and dont get all pollygon on us .... i just think its important the devs get the feedback to LET THEM know we are happy with the direction of development, am i 100% with what LFS currently has to offer NO! i want better collision physics, weather, living tracks bla bla bla... BUT we know THATS what the devs want too and one day we will get it i would put my house on it... im as happy as a pig in poop that LFS is in beta still, cus if a group of guys can give us this in a beta!!! it come to something when a new race *sim" (i use the word loosely) is released i dont even bother looking LOL, may have better grafix yes may have real cars yes may even have real tracks, but nothing can touch LFS for its realism and fun factor, and in saying that we can call our *game* a real simulator, if i want scienery i will go for a walk over the hill
