Ha, XCNuse got pwned by a demo racer
But just looking at Markz post-count ... I wonder who would be stupid enough to out himself as a cracker after already participating in the forums like that
Now that's a comparison I love
Plus it's right: As long as you're what you're doing, you don't need firewalls/anti-vir/... - but only if you really know what you're doing, not just think that you know.
I installed Avira Antivir PE on my mother's computer, it does its job pretty good. I can't say anything good about Norton, it missed a lot of viruses with the latest definitions last time I used it. And even worse: I couldn't completely get rid of it with their normal uninstalling software
Can I criticise the desgin of the page? The web-designer has done quite a horrible job there, especially the race reports - BATracer is much more refined in that area. I have just started, making a bit of profit already, let's see where it gets me
I think that has been suggested before, maybe in a little different way. But I still agree on refined gauges, maybe we will get them with Eric's car update (which nobody knows when it's finished )
The background of the gauges itself is a nice idea too, and it could be easy to implement for Scawen, and black text on white background could look rather nice too. I just can't imagine how green on white could improve readability
I'm just here to enlarge my ePen- erm.. postcount.
In reality: Because I like the game and most of the people on this forum, they are pretty mature (as I said, most) and friendly. And you can have nice arguement or just follow the ones of Tristan and Jamexing
Bah, since I am the only being still off-topic: Don't make full quotes of long text, just shorten the text (like me ) since we all can read the original post, makes it way nicer to read through the forums
I wouldn't join a team for being in a team anyways, more like to have a kind of meeting central for friends and so on. I don't too much of regular training sessions or scheduled races anyway, I don't even have the time for that at the moment. And the official forums keep me entertained well enough
I'll stick to my occasional visits to the multiplayer-servers, just to find out none of my favourite cars are used and go back to do a few singleplayer laps
Meh, offtopic
The DFP is not too good with countersteering, cause its motor has quite a brake effect on turning, if you had gotten the G25 it would be lot easier. One way would be lowering the maximum lock in the Profiler, or you could try to be more "rough" to your hardware. Or maybe - if you are skilled enough and don't mind losing your warranty - change the FFB-motor
