IE is nowhere near the web standard, in fact, Microsoft ignored quite a bunch of the things considered as standard earlier, though I guess this is pretty much fixed in IE7.

To solve your problem of merging the images you could use a table, but I'd suggest you'd read into the basics of html/javascript before attempting something like this.

rFactor has the Nordschleife.
It also coould have been a half-decent game, if they didn't go with that crappy old ISI-engine.
Also, why do you think people couldn't buy both, rFactor and LFS?

Is that a 0xD1 (DRIVER_IRQL...) only or do you get 0x8E (KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPT) and 0x50 (PAGE_FAULT...) too?
I got rid of those simply by replugging every single cable in my pc and reinserting the cards (and de-dusting a bit).
Also you might wanna check your ram with memtest86+. Durr. Note to self: Read first.

If you're also interested in off-road, try Richard Burns Rally. You could also give netKar Pro a shot, but seems like it hasn't been worked on in years.
Also, did you try the RealFeel-plugin for rFactor and the New Advanced Physics Mod for GTR2? They make those two sims feel quite a lot better in my opinion, especially RealFeel.

But yeah, I have the same problem, ISI-based sims just don't feel right for me
