Damage system please, but I do not put this in the same category as weather so I can't vote
Pretty much any other racing game I have owned, never used the rain conditions more than once or twice. So in my opinion weather is pretty low priority.
OK, just an assumtion here: Maybe you got excited and increased the graphics levels for the new card, but your CPU is now bottlenecked so the whole game is running slower perhaps?
If you put your graphincs levels to exactly the same as when you had your 9600GT installed, it should run a little better at least.
Just go to the Licence screen and edit your GAME PASSWORD.
Then click OK then click BACK.
Then LFS cannot be used online.
But the thing is you must get to that PC directly to remove the password. You can't deny that PC's access via LFS world or anything. Hope you didn't unlock a PC in an internet cafe in another country. If so, go onto LFS.net and change your GAME PASSWORD. Then the other computer won't be able to use that account ONLINE and potentially harm your account's reputation. It will still be unlocked and have access to S2 content (offline), but if you can't physically get to the PC then it's going to remain that way.
edit:
Oh wait, you said it's your PC at work and the account is still being accessed. OKAY gotcha. Just change your GAME PASSWORD on LFS.net. To get onto LFS.net use your FORUM (WEB) PASSWORD then choose Account details in the login area. Then you can get into the form to change your GAME PASSWORD. That will stop them playing online with your account.
Takes like 1 1/2 mins to load the game, takes like 1 min to load the race/cars, every race.

LFS takes what? 5-10 seconds?
Not everyone has a GPU big enough to load everthing at once. You might say, "make it an option", but it's probably not so easy to have special cases for this type of thing. I hear Scawen dying a little bit...... If you have a big GPU and think you should have this extra thing, IMO go with SSDs if you want to be in a special class.
peace.
edit: I think I just repeated what everyone else said here. Sorry.
There is an option in MISC to Load Track When Starting. (only loads the last used track, but meh.)
Probably they didn't bother with monitor stands because it is difficult to make a design to suit every need and evey monitor configuration. Some have 17" some have 50" and some have 3x22" etc. They don't want to charge people for something they don't want or don't use. This keeps the costs down.
Similarly for the gear shifter stand. Not everyone has a separate shifter.
Perhaps they haven't gotten around to adding these things yet.
There's no keyboard or mouse support either. Maybe that will come eventually.
It dosn't matter what view you are in.:banghead: It's the part of the game that keeps track of the Odometer in the RAC. It keeps counting no mater what view you are in. This works fine. You can jump to their internal view and see it is keeping track just fine in or out of their vehicle. The varible is adjusted accordingly.
It just doesn't CONTINUE to count up when you go far away from the car (more than 100meters). But it's probably hard to get right because other clients may not have z20 so are not even keeping track of this ODO trip variable. I imagine it's a bit difficult to receive info from another car (like trip kms) when those other cars aren't even keeping a track of it.
When all clients are upgraded then it might start working fine because Scawen will add the missing link.
