Yea, the cube is very difficult when it comes to have round schemes on it. The side line could be a bit more curved, although that may result looking shite (buckles) from certain perspectives. A way to get a round it would be using straight lines, but that would look edgy in a direct view.
The top shape could eb a bit more thicker at the rear and thinner on the front.
Andro, i have to apologise partly, because you were right about the right side of the car.
I was right about the left side plate though. I only looked at that.
Now where did i say the logos are wrong?( I actually said the opposite; they are fine ideed.)
I was saying as you can still read it - your numberplate and the logo above it are kursiv, which is a result of the stretching issue.
PS. writing in big letters is commonly interpreted as screaming,
lol, no need to scream, just tell me which wrong method i apparently showed you. I am pretty sure that you must have missunderstood it, as it is simple as pie. Besides, noone else says the values are wrong, because many others use them and it works just fine; they definitely are not wrong.
The always annoying stretching, which Kiste obviously tends do not care about . It seems you actually compensated some, but others not. I don't want to check all logos as it looks about alright with the HofP and such, but the numberplate and its logo above it, are kursiv.
Actually, it's not. There is almost no alligning and the logos are not compensated.
I would have expect you start making it properly, Kiste, lol. It's a pity really...
I am wondering what all these developers do. For one i doubt they made the models from scratch just like that. Isn't it more likely they just use previously build models?
Further i wonder how many devs it needs to make some lame physics, having to just vaguely match their RL counterparts, in various aspects.
Not really to compare it to something like lfs.
PS: It's like comparing a fruit, with a picture of a fruit.
That's not bad at all. Another advice would be, to use high resolution. Minimum is 2048 x 2048. Better is 4096 (depending on your available RAM or CPU)
Further seems, in this example of an existing reallife livery, the color tone of the yellow base is too bright, which gives to me an "ugh" effect
As foir the stretching, if you have trouble to understand the issue, feel free to say something. I or someone else could make an another graphic to show whats happening there. The temnplates i made are just for the generell stretching for each car; basically everywhere where the shape of the car is curved the stretching is more or less.
And for that reason, you have to download it again and also delete from LFSW/re-upload it. Because i accidently covered a little part of the spikes when i had to change a bit something and forgot to uncover again. While on it, I fixed a mini-bug (hardly to see in low-res).
Also added the hi-res for readable decals ^^Skin 4096
Enjoy and sorry for the incovenience !
PS.: On a sidenote, because of the extra work i've recieved another bag of money to cover my expenses. The whole thing was sponsored by Michelin and that's why the Michi-man is now also on the frontbumper :P
But... between us... it's just a sticker... you can rub it off xD
