Someone mentioned that there are no races? Not a single one...
I loved the whole thing in the first game, although the race wasn't that enjoyable, and somehow i blindly expected this to be a part of the new one too...
I mean what's the point of making an advanced driving model and then not even support wheels (or am i missinformed?).
There you go (attachent). I dont know how much you know, but there are templates around made by Bunta, a guy from the foum i lnked you to. There, or here in the very forum, you can find them to download. They include a wireframe and each of the paintable areas are seperated into layers.
For more comfort to check your skins, you can download the skin viewer
Doh, I've just seen a test and it pretty much reveals that there is not much to do besides the missions, which wouldn't bother me if it wasn't for races - there will be no god damn race!
Yeah hilarious, isn't it. If PD puts them out like this, handling like a limousine with suspension, shame on them :P
+1 for prober buggy and a reasonable cross tracks
Correct would be, that you don't like the cars then.
You have to remember that the cars back then were a lot heavier (no Alu or CF) and had a tyre-width half (heck even a 3rd) of what the tyres of today have, which simply means, that alone, provides half the grip.
Oh, i forgot to mention, there is a pre-made numberplate PSD-file that includes all LFS logos. I don't have it anymore, since i always make them myself, but you can find the logos and other stuff here.
PS: please don't edit existing skins or at least ask the creator. It's usually written on the skin file
It's not only about damage, I'm afraid. If you lean onto another car it would unstabalise it too... It's something that has always been wrong in GT (of course sometimes very helpful tho xD) and it seems not gotten any much better.
But yeah, smoke is very nice indeedly, but i reserve my comment about that untill we see LFS' "new" smoke (cus of more volume since the whole tyre will burn)
It's hard to see every mistakes just from angled screenshots. Will it be private skin or do you plan to make it public?
By the looks of it, it is quite good.
Maybe the yellow colour tone could have a tad more red in it. The vroom-logo on the front bumper definitely does It's barely visible in this light yellow.
The BFgoodridge logo on the side-door is overlapping the edges, if you know what i mean.
I just installed my new 460. If you still on your 500w PSU try a better one, i guess. I am running a 550w coolermaster and it seems to be fine...
Other then that, only thing i do is using tweakforce nvidia drivers, although i doubt that it would make much of a difference in your case, but they seem to be always great (besides they are much 'lighter')
PS. just for my interest, which is your manufactor (mine gigabyte) and did you need to plug 2 power cables in?
