I think you actually don't understand. Besides that noone says it's better than "real sound", it's the simple fact that all different factors blend in very well; it feels alot more natural. It's like you said in the beginning, the tone is not constant, but thats often how it is with sampled sounds.

For me this teaser is nothing, but sounds taken of from your regular broadcast. For all we know this could be just that. All it's supposed to do is simply hyping another full price title with your every year graphics-effects-update.

I've seen it Rocky, but i can't create to save my life (well, probably could but ther's no danger in sight xD).
There are alot of people on this board tho, who can, seeing Dennis Linds helmet thread. Plus, a unique, brilliant or cool design is always very subjective. Take me for an example, I like straight lines and flashy colors... someone else like it more subtile, with a lot of fine 3D effects, dry colors or whatever. The description you added is probably something to work with, but it doesn't trigger anything in me. Heck, the helmet I'll be using is a different colored version of the last one i've made; added personal stuff making this one unique.

I also totally dislike Tribals and therefor am totally wrong person for this job, since i can't even figure out what nice means in this context

However, i don't mean to be an arse, but Dennis gives out 100 pounds for just creating one and not also making it work on the lfs model. Don't get me wrong, but that could turn off potential designers, too.

Like Dennis did, you could provide an example.. just something to get a feel for your personal taste. The more info you give out the for satisfying it will be. (not only for you) It doesn't have to bean actual helmet but any graphics you like.

I'm not sure, but the monster stuff might become an obstical too. The H-logo on Simonas helmet was already tricky to get done...

As a little critism, the black shape could be round up a bit on the front and the pin-stripe a bit more curved.

Oh yes, no need to shame. It takes its time tho. I'm waiting for like almost 2weeks for my new monitor (yea i'm still on a crt 4:3 xD#) which will make works a bit more comfortable, but still there is the issue with this red curved ornament on the top that gives me a bit headaches. Different angels make it look so much different (as you might expect on this model). the way it is now it will look partly flowing round like it's supposed to look from top view, but the other part very much out of shape, which on the other hand, looks spot on from the side view. Changing it so it looks perfect from top view will mean it looks extremely shite from side view.

I attached a pic with how it probably will be finished. It needs little finishing on the silver/grey borders and a slight rework on said top part since i forgot to include the borders there. ATM, it could be called a sketch xD

However, that's the actually progress so far, but I'm not sure I'll get on it this weekend, but next i think. Sorry for letting you wait

PS. for screenshots, you can change the angel of the sun on the lower right corner, so one doesn't see the shadowed side
Also, you can download a custom reflection texture and put it in the viewer folder, for a more studio-kind-of-look.
