lets see if they will manage to come up with a new rule saying something about "dividing down the inside, out braking yourself, push your competitor wide" will all of a sudden be punishable...
Massa got bumped down to the 3rd row of the grid in the final mintue... yay~!
and Kimi back on form when it happened (at least for the Saturday), suddenly finding some speed and put it onto the front row~!
but well as usual we don't know their fuel load...
which basically mean France, Malaysia and NZ can afford to have an absoblutely horrible weekend, but GB can't because they weren't even given the chance to race....
but I guess suddenly changing the race to non-championship events would be a huge struggle with all the various contracts (especially sponsorship and advertising one) signed. as well as possibly people who purchased tickets demanding a refund.
so I'm just wondering how much did team GB got paid to get stuffed and said "it's fair, it's ok, as teams can drop their worst result anyway blah blah blah"...
ooh... and also on Ferrari typical's waiting list...
how do they decide which teams receive their cars and which teams doesn't~? I think 5 teams didn't get their cars because Ferrari couldn't built them on schedule...
they tried to remedy it by allowing each team to drop their worst race weekend, but that is still hardly fair is it~? (although the teams are trying to say it is for whatever reasons). Those that received their cars and have a pretty decent weekend this time round can afford to have a crap weekend elsewhere, where as those teams who somehow was unfortunately enough to not have their cars delivered won't have that luxury.
how much did the organisers paid those teams to shut them up... lol
the sprint race was probably finished a while ago as there were already a race report on Autosport...
don't know if anyone has seen this, but WTH was the rescue vehicle doing driving on the edge of the circuit (which was kinda the racing line) with the field charging towards it close behind...
Singapore would be absoblutely boring if not for the safety car alongside the stuff up rule on pit closure, and Rosberg got himself out of it because of the inability of the FIA to punish something so obviously "against" the rules quickly... but I shouldn't complaint cos it worked out very nicely for Rosberg~
Luca di Montezemolo (however that is spelt) does have a point with the stuff he said, cos as usual, there are always two side to the coin~
but yes, he wouldn't be wanting to "talk about with the other teams in the next few weeks" if he's the boss of Renault...
at times it's even more horrible to read what u said...
some Hamilton fans might get a bit over the top with things, but u are just not any better for your hatred to him, and sometimes even worse...
but heck, Lewis got the 7 points lead which he should have had if not for that chicane incident in Spa...
wow Lewis was very lucky there... just P10 in Q2...
don't know how much those 2 Red Bulls cost him in his flying laps through. But all his laps in Q2 were rubbish.
the "night racing" part doesn't sound particularly special really. As Bourdais put it, the lights are so bright that it's basically just like a normal day time race. The only difference of cos is that the sky are black...
PS. I really hope they don't remove those very high looking brick style kerbs down at that turn 10 (?) chicane~! lol
a little bit OT...
but that car's basically same everything as the Golf, which means next to zero development cost on anything mechanical (well they did improve on a certain areas and added some extra bits somewhere, but u get the idea), design a new body, and that's basically the same car with a wider appeal. Those that didn't like the Golf might perhaps go for the Scirocco instead.
that's how car manufacturers do business these days...
so up to now still absoblutely no one are calling for a rule change of why should a drive through and a stop/go, if handed down after the race is finished, are both worth exactly 25seconds~? surely something should be done about this~?
then Heidfield and Kimi would have been much worse~? and Piquet should be thrown straight out of F1~?
and how many times did Lewis out qualified Heikki~?
how many laps has Massa put onto those tyres compare to Lewis~?
not to mention Massa has the benefits of the heat blankets when he left the pit, where as Lewis and McLaren were somehow thinking they would just go out on the tyres which got cold when it was on the weight bridge...
yeah unfortunately he learnt a few tricks now, pushing the rules in which he wouldn't get punnished. All these pushing other drivers off the track always happened and hardly ever went punished. Just that we don't get to see it often because cars don't go side by side often when it's dry...
as for his yellow helmet, he always claimed his dad picked a yellow one so it would be very easily recognisable out on the kart track...
and I do agree he is saying all the wrong stuff lately.
he was at his best when he just came into F1, before all the pressure and politics get onto him.
note the first part and the second part to my sentence.
Lewis stuff it by going on inters, which was his fault. Came back in to change tyres, and being called to the weight bridge which obviously took some time. BY THE TIME he can go back out on the track, it was already getting wetter and wetter AND he would need a lap or two at the very least to put some heat back into the tyres anyway.
Having said all that, if he didn't went for inters all those wouldn't happened but heck yeah he stuffed it up already, with the problems made worse by the random checks...
