Another trick is to slow the replay down to 1/2 or 1/4 speed (press F2 to slow down, F3 to speed up), record at the slower speed them speed it back up in your video editing software.

What I want the administration to see out of that race is that every time I got ahead of car 21, he hit me up the back in the next corner to re-take the place.

Lap 1: I started ahead and he punted me into 1, pushed me off in turn 2.
...I chase him down...
Lap 7: I re-pass him on the backstretch he punts me in the back in the chicane and hairpin
...I chase him down...
Lap 8: I re-pass him on the backstretch, he dumps me coming out of the chicane
...I chase him down...
Lap 17: I re-pass him on the backstretch, he punts me in the chicane...is still behind me so he punts me again into turn 1 on lap 18.

I don't care how the protest goes, it is just setting the precedent for the type of overtaking that will be tolerated in this series.

Long story short, car #21 was mad at me after race 1 for reasons that I still can not figure out. I was no where near his incident in the closing laps of race #1.

We went into race #2 and car 21 ran into the back of me 7 times, forced me off the track and spun me out...that is what is being protested

Brief Description of Incident:

So driver #21 was quite upset with me after race #1. I do not know why, the only contact I had with him was at Race 1 timestamp 15:32 which I feel was unavoidable. I have a feeling he is holding me responsible for the incident exiting turn 2 at timestamp 28:35 ... clearly, I had nothing to do with that incident. But he exchanged words with me after the race, accused me of punting him off because I am incapable of making clean passes.

I had a feeling that he would go after me in race #2 and he did:
0:38 - A punt into the back in turn 1
0:46 - a divebomb and forcing me wide into the grass on exit in turn 2
10:00 - a punt from behind in the chicane and a wheel-to-wheel slam into the final hairpin
11:30 - he finally finished the job by dumping me in the chicane causing lost time
23:55 - I chased him back down, passed him and he hit me 3 times between the chicane and hairpin
24:20 then rammed me from behind in turn 1

It is with sadness that I announce that Angry Angus Racing has closed its doors after seven and a half years of sim racing. The team has chosen to go their separate ways due to a lack of manpower. We believe that this is partially due to my inability to be active within the community to promote and grow the team but mostly because of the general shrinking of the LFS user-base as a whole.

Jonathan is taking time away from sim-racing all together, Rej and Zoltan are both focusing on education commitments and personally, I am anxiously looking forward to other opportunities within the LFS community that I currently have in the works (details to follow).

This is a decision several weeks in the making as AAR has been my pet project for over seven years, it makes me very sad to finally close up shop. But, I can look back fondly over those years of how we started as a joke between some freinds in a tiny NR2003 league and rode it to this level. Those memories and accomplishments are thanks to the people who have put their time into this team:

Favorite for me in my short-ish time in LFS is the 24 Hour race this year. I stayed up for 38 hours that day...and night...and following day, drove 3 stints from 2AM-4AM and again from 5Am till 6AM. The team got its best ever Endurance finish (14th overall) and a podium (3rd in Am class). It was just the culmination of 7 years of work: of starting a team between some buddies in a different game in a small league. Coming to LFS, entering broadcast races (that just blew my mind), running for 24 hours, and at the end being one of the 6 cars called to the line for the podium photos. We were lucky to have come really cool guest drivers who were willing to work with us.

Ok boys, we are going to do a standing start...nevermind

but remember that you must keep 2 wheels within the race track...nevermind

I wish indycar would pick some rules and stick to them




...and silly fact, this race is not being televised in Canada *rolleyes

After that race, I think there was just an agreement that everybody won
