Never heard of this rule? where does it come from?
Why is it "obvious you have the corner??
I,m not having a go at you BTW I just don't need the next driver who takes the inside line at a speed they cant keep through the corner and uses my car as a mobile barrier to hold there way through it to quote this rule at me.
Why does being on the inner part of a corner, and side by side give you the right to the use the racing line and run another car off the track?
Am I reading you right?
If this is true I've wasted the last 8 years
I Should just use the racing line and send them into the grass ?.
Inside/outside, if your level ....you leave room.
Yep I see this as well, hotlapping is much easier but far less rewarding than racing, but some take the easy route and go around the track as if there's no one else there.
Also noticing more and more that these poor souls become deaf and dumb as well as blind when asked about there heroic manouver.
Its like if they say nothing they did nothing wrong, keep asking untill they thet get the power of speech back is the best way to help
Not been to Knockhill for years good to see the track again.
I can put LFS names to some of those drivers
Ohh no!!... oversteer!....Over compensate spin and crash!, repeat this every time you approach this corner, if you get frustrated, blaming another driver adding swearing and hand gestures will help untill you see your shrink in the morning.
Ok Got it .....having a faster driver breathing down you neck does wonders for my concentration, also try to think about just the corner ahead, drive it in your mind before you reach it,delete all thoughts of splits, previous laps, how bad I did that last corner, will I get curry for dinner.. etc.
I will now return to a Zen-like state....UMMMMMMMMMM:hippy:
Buy S2.. is it perfect no, is it better than demo...... its night and day.
Best £24 you could spend if you have any interest in online racing simulation , In s2 you can't change your name so mud sticks so "most" drivers want to stay clean
I really enjoy racing the tracks in s2, great to drive , except AS nat chicane... oh the pain of it
I look forward to the day that real tracks could be added,( if possible)
The tracks in GPL spring to mind, Spa, Kylami ..Brands hatch, Monza and the one with lots and lots of corners.
But saying that AS historic reminds me of many of these tracks.
Being rammed after a race is not my Idea of fun, and it does the wheel no good getting violenty rammed lock to lock.
We have the best race sim going why turn it into a banger arcade game after the race ends?.
Really curious what fun people get from ramming into another car as hard as they can, a bit of a laugh maybe the first couple of times , but over and over again?.
I'm more worried about what happens when the flag drops at a start of a race.
1:drivers who use LFS for cheap kicks, taking pleasure in causing mahem
2: Ignore blue flags, and race you into the dirt.
3: make crazy impossible inside move that can only end one way.
4:weave about like crazy to stop them losing the lead.
Stats don't effect my online racing experience, the above does.
If after a crash my car would ruin other's races I pit,( as quick as lag allows)
Failing that and if other drivers are close behind yes stop where you are and close you eyes
.
NO it can make for much better racing, LFS is not real, cant be as we would all be dead, If i,m wrecked on track at t1 keeping it real after a crash, I bet it would ruin your game play
LFS is the biggest bargain I've ever had in PC software, YEARS of fun for £24.!!!.
S3 will cost more, who works long hours for nothing?.
Break the cost down over time and the price is a joke.
Your line looks good, try a few laps and try and avoid the tyre's skidding especially at t1
Dont overdrive the car, large and sudden steering Inputs ,skidding tyres etc..
As Matteman said and the OAP Jackie Stewart said in top Gear" never get on the throttle through a corner untill you know you don't have to take your foot off it".
Wise words and VERY good advice.
Best thing is enjoy your racing ,have a laugh, and practice practice practice, respect the other drivers, it gets payed back big time
