I guess for the same reason people are cruising in lfs, because they haven't driven much in real life and hadn't had "the pleasure" of getting stuck in traffic jams.

It seems the ingame steering wheel stops turning at some point, even though i'm still turning it in real life.

No I went to a friend and tested gt5p. Wanted to bring my g25, but he bought dfgt just for it, so I didn't. I only own msff + fm3.

Don't expect a logitech quality out of msff wheel, but it's still good experience. The only big complaint I have is when the ffb feels "clicky" during sudden forces changes (for example during a slalom). And ofcourse 270 degrees, but I got used to it already.

Btw, 199$ for that combo? USD? You sure you can't get a better deal in US? I've heard that msff can be bought cheaply there. Maybe it would be better idea to buy forza 3 and wheel seperately.

Driving wise I found fm2 with just a pad already better than gt5p+dfgt mix. Although wheel support is horrible in fm2, the implementation that is - makes it feel worse than a pad. But they have done very good job with wheel implementation in f3 and even msff it's a great experience. And yes, I will take msff+f3 anyday over gt5p+dfgt (or gt5p+g25, since I can't imagine a better wheel magically fixing physics bugs).

Thanks. Yes using MSFF. I took a bet and bought it. It's horrible in fm2, but quite good in fm3. Can't imagine going back to pad now at least.

But tunes are very important when drifting with wheel. Things get quite unpleasant when drifting and having tires over peak at front. Also rapid force changes are too clonky. But other than that, it's great fun. I would say, for about 55-60 gbp this wheel is really good deal, unfortunately I paid more, but still don't regret it.

Don't expect a g25 though.

I adressed those arguments couple of times before. Won't be going over this shit again, a waste of time.

Anyway, Let's make setups stock, reduce steering lock even more. Also eliminate pit button, introduce netkar pro hardcore mode so that setup changes take a lot of time. And if we have major accident, our license should be set to "R.I.P." - forcing player to buy another license with new nickname.

Because this is - THE online racing simulator.

Question for lucky ones: Do engine swaps change weight distribution in car stats? In forza 2 it just changed weight and didn't update weight distribution stat.

dawesdust_12: Just one thing about Forza having only a little over 400 cars. Remember that you can do seperate drivetrain and multiple engine swaps for many cars. Which let's you build new cars yourself as changing engine or drivetrain changes car characteristic upside down. Not to mention changing engine aspirations as well. Sudennly 400 becomes a much bigger number. But if you don't find that kind of stuff fun, then I guess it's only a bit over 400 for you.

Going back on topic, will there be engine/drivetrain swaps in gt5?

Thing is, we have NO PROBLEM to get live access. We just register account to country that has live support, for example to uk.

And most DLC isn't region locked. If it is, then there is always VLN.

Problem is that they take free dlc codes away from us.
