No, AFAIK more weight = more grip. I think this becomes a negative effect at some time but I know putting more weight over wheels that are braking will give them more grip (a good technique in karting is to push yourself back into the seat when braking)
I have a dog and two rabbits. My dog is a mix of about five different types of dog. He's nearly 6 years old and he's called Merlin. He used to be mad when he was younger but he's calmed down now, I wonder if it was the running full-pelt into the backdoor that made him calm down a bit...
One rabbit is a dwarf lop-ear I think. He's pretty friendly unless you go in his space (his hutch) or pick him up. The other is a nice and calm bunny, I'm not sure what type he is.
No problem, as long as you play LFS at least once every six months I'm not gonna kick you out
Still no-one else has been attracted. I guess I should lower the limit again. Maybe I can help some of the newbies get up to speed (heh, pun) with racing
I would say don't get involved with a league yet, you're new to LFS and you're bound to make some mistakes while driving which could mean big consequences if it happens in a league. Stick to public racing until you get to something like 5000 miles then start to consider leagues.
(This is my opinion, you don't have to follow it )
I'm usually pretty smooth if I've got a well-balanced car. Give me some oversteer or understeer and that all goes out the window and I usually end up with the flailing arms of doom
I've been told that I'm a very defensive driver in real life, for example I kept a guy behind me who had about 8-10hp more than me (this is in a kart btw) on a pretty fast track for about 3 laps without even knowing he was there
I haven't read all of this thread but I have made something similar to this using insim. I'm just waiting on Franky500 to check it out and approve it before putting it on a server.
Yeah, I went last Easter. We're going to the same place, even the same hotel There was a lot of 'summer-only' things we didn't get to do, like searching for wild dolphins, so that's why we're going back this year. It's a very nice country and the people tend to be nice too (even if the shopkeepers try to take advantage of the tourists )
34) Go on a random road-trip, just start driving and see where you end up.
@ZORER - If we do make the trip it'll be a 2-day thing. We've got 2 weeks over there and there's lots we want to do so we might end up not going. We're going to Pamukkale though since its not as far.
Kinda off-topic: I'm going to Turkey in the summer and I'm staying near Antalya, is Cappadocia too far away to drive? (It doesn't look too far on a map but I'm not sure about it)
For some reason my brain is shouting at me "Chav!"
Seriously, if you like it then don't listen to what other people say. Just because some people don't like doing cars up like that doesn't mean you can't
Heh, I just noticed that I've only just covered the 15,000 miles requirement (~16,000) so I guess its a little high.
@S14 DRIFT - You seemed to be doing pretty well last night on the STCC server according to LFSWorld so I think the answer is yes. Just one question though, why the big gap between your last night of racing before last night's (14th Jan to 22nd Feb)?
