what means "to join races"? The best races on demo combos happens every night at demo servers, and you definitely have enough pace to join them. Of course fastest guys go there 1-2 sec faster, but in every race there is someones going also slower.

Thanks for last event, AS7R...wasnt so ready for that but anyway enjoyed whole time. Made short vid of the race, I modified the LFS Director cameras, added more cams and more front shoots, dont know if its better or worse.

As a reminder, my layouts are running on Racon's server "PiranMoto BL Industrial" and there is also lapper system (use !top), would be nice to see more name in statistics

Currently there is running Boreas layout. (Unfortunately the statistics shown on that link are not anymore available (was another server) but just to have a look what kind of times have been done there half year ago...)

Short clip of div2 race of Copa DTM from last night. I had bit less bad luck than others, and finished 3rd while there was many faster cars on track. I lost my lead with one extra pitstop while forgot to do mandatory tyre change on my first stop. Nice event once again, thanks CESAV.

I dont know are you driving with wheel, mouse or keyboard, but 1:36:5 with xfg/xrg is not bad time at all at on new Blackwood. However demo servers are quite populated with experienced racers so if you compare yourself to them, you may think you are "slow" or you should perform better. Having a time "around 1:34" on current new Blackwood, requires much experience.

If you haven't still done, join a demo server and instead of joining the race, spectate the fastest driver (you can jump on other's cars with TAB key) and watch how he drives. You may find out some critical driving line details just by watching him.

Since this server is still up and running, and having only XFG option, its interesting unique choice for demo server. However currently the race lenght is 13 hours. Is there any admin alive who could change the laps to 4 or 5, and remove qualify?

I protest the move of alfik_78 on lap 15 (at 21:27 of replay). He goes off track, and returns the track without any caring and understanding that there is race ongoing on the track. He tooks immediately in the middle of the track without any speed, first I hit him, then swissline hits him and loses 3 position because of that. I have seen him doing the same thing also in quick races, and it looks to me he wants to eagerly defend his position.

I understand that accident happens, but that returning to track was such noob move wich shouldnt happen in such events, assuming every racer uses the track map where you can see if cars are near you.

Maybe you gave up too easily under the "no" of others? You could/should have insisted on blackwood, and at the end, nobody can say nothing to that, if rules says that winner chooses the track.

I write in this separate post couple of suggestion for next season:

I would modify the pointing system.

1) Imo its not fair that I get the same reward as polesitter or fastest lap driver gets, just by remaining last in qualify and then climbing 13 positions without actually overtaking almost anybody. So I would remove the one point reward for the climber.


2) I suggest change that all drivers get points like this system:

5 participants race pointing system:
5th gets 1 point
4th gets 2 points
3rd gets 2 points more, means 4
2nd gets 2 points more, means 6
1st gets 3 points more, means 9

10 participants race would be with same logic:
10th gets 1 point
9th - 2pts, 8th - 3pts, 7th - 4pts, 6th - 5pts, 5th - 6pts, 4th - 7pts
3rd - 9pts
2nd - 11pts
1st - 14 pts

I mean, your victory (or any high position) has more value if there are more participants in the race. The participants count should be counted from starting grid, not from finishers. I mean if 10 cars on grid and only 5 finishes, the last - 5th driver should get 6pts, 4th driver 7pts etc.

This is just because we cannot never not how many participates the event. Is it fair that winner gets same points from a race of 5 participants, than a race of 35 participants? Also currently its bit boring that those who can't reach top11 in the race, will never get points (sounds like pointing system of Formula One in the 70's).

Thanks for wonderful event once again.

So far I have learned to enjoy this "TS-meeting", though in the beginning I was questioning what is the point of TS, and I felt it is disturbing my driving (because didn't understand I can mute if for the race).

Now I keep TS always on during races, and I can concentrate on race while listening Fras' interesting commentary. However I wish in future that also TS would be password protected after race has started to prevent situations like yesterday.

Haven't tried T300RS.

I found 2nd hand G29 (actually G920 but its the same thing) in very good condition and paid bit more than 200€ (with shifter). I'm not also a professional driver, and this was my first wheel, got familiar with it in 2-3 days.

I think this was definitely worth the ~200€ but difficult to say would I pay 400 for this. Maybe you should find friends who own both wheels and go to have test drive?

I have been able to set up this also for other sims. The G29 has a weird brake pedal implementation, you can find out more by youtubeing "g29 brake pedal fix".

Gigantti is btw selling G29 with price of 199€ ...."TARJOUS PÄÄTTYY SU 10.12" be fast!
