So... you made a good skin and expected no one to notice it? Did you put "do not steal this skin" anywhere on the skin? I highly doubt it and even if you did, people probably won't even notice the warning.
I'm not exactly in favor of skin stealing but any skin is hardly private once you use it online.
If you have a good skin, don't upload it online or don't use in public servers or any server where someone might use it. People are inconsiderate and always will be so keep that in mind. Do you think the person who's using your skin cares how long it took to make? No, but they admire how it looks and you should take pride in knowing that you've made something that someone's willing to use because that's all that you can do about it.
My X1950PRO (top of the line ATI equivalent to the NVIDIA 7-series) works fine with everything LFS, Battlefield 2142, and Guild wars throw at it with the maximum graphics settings in the games and stock graphics card settings.
Go with the 8800GTS. It might be a bit of overkill for LFS but it'll be a competitive graphics card for quite a while.
You'll probably want to upgrade your processor but I think it'd be more important for us to know what you're going to be needing that 8800GTX for.
My concern is that you're going to be getting the 8800GTX but not use its full potential. LFS, for example, runs at 90+FPS on a PC with an Athlon 64 X2 5200+ and a X1950PRO.
Ultimately, it's your call. The 8800GTX is a great card but it might be a bit overkill for your needs.
^Worst logic ever. If the backmarkers don't respond to the big BLUE FLAG message in the center of their screen, why would they respond to the smaller, harder to read text at the top left?
It's the responsibility of the faster cars to get around the slower cars unless it's stated otherwise in the server rules. In either case, the faster drivers should expect the slower driver to do anything and therefore should leave the slower drivers plenty of space when they pass.
I don't really think it's that difficult to get around backmarkers as long as they're not being idiots and are not trying to block me. Set yourself up for a good corner exit and pass on the straight sections. You might lose 0.1s but if you're good enough, it shouldn't matter
You should keep in mind that your "BLUE FLAG MOVE OUT OF THE WAY" message may make some drivers actually more willing to give you a well-placed tap as you pass them. It's annoying, it doesn't work, and only idiots use them.

I agree with your first point wholeheartedly. Senna was alongside and on the inside. It's stupid to try to cut back in and not expect contact.
That said, I think that your second point is misguided. Senna was turning but his outside rear was being bumped by the outside car which, in my opinion, created understeer that does look very much like a deliberate attempt to run the other car off the track.
To be honest, nobody was driving smart. I don't know Senna's reputation (it seems to be bad, from what everyone here says) but he certainly wasn't the only one who was driving aggressively. I'd call it a racing incident and let it go. It's not that big of a deal.
1- that's exactly what's being said. Stoner's a great rider and the Ducati's a good bike. That said, you'd be fooling yourself if you said Stoner's wins in China and Catalunya weren't vastly aided by the Ducati's power advantage over the other bikes. His advantage in China was unreal and
2- Nobody said Ducati couldn't do it or is wrong in doing so. Ducati's decisions have nothing to do with what's being discussed. It's simply that Stoner has quite a bit more power than the others. Nobody's faulting anybody for having more power, you simply can't say someone's better because their bike has more power.
3- Ducati's efforts in WSB and BSB have been aided by the mid-RPM-range power that the V-twins have that the inline fours don't.
The race on the whole was interesting when they weren't on the front straight. Watching someone open up a lead on the straights is frustrating to say the least. TBH, MotoGP isn't terribly interesting. It's great when there are a lot of fast guys but if I want to watch very close racing, I'll stick with the 125 class or 250 class.
Do you know how much it would cost to get the RX-7 in LFS? The users would have to front a huge amount of money (price per person would be enormous, seeing as there really aren't many LFS players and even fewer who would want one). Clearly you don't.
Your closed-minded and stupid approach to demanding things will get you nowhere.
Tires don't smoke when they still have grip. Maybe you're thinking that FWDs should understeer more under acceleration and therefore should smoke due to excessive wheelspin, which does not happen. I wish it did
