Does a WTCC car really have a H-Pattern manual box?

I don't really mind Shedden putting Collard half on the grass, Rob would have surely known that is what would have happened if he tried it around the outside coming out of the hairpin.

Glad for Andrew Jordan in the third race, I didn't think he would have the pace to stay ahead but the battling behind meant he did and Tom O-C couldn't quite catch him.

The scariest thing for me was seeing the incar of Andy Neate taking out Andrew Jordan at Oulton last time out, it was literally a P.I.T manouvre but when he got him sideways it was full lock and full power into him, that was the most rediculous thing I've ever seen in touring cars and he should have have more than just a DQ and a grid penalty, disgusting.

If I haven't driven on LFS for a day or two I always get the urge to go for a spin, so most of the time I play daily, normally for a few races in the evening.

I was racing it last night on Cargame.nl, the only place where I can drive it online without being surrounded by drifters. When I say racing I mean lapping on my own, no-one else was feeling suicidal with me at the time. I've worked on a set for the RAC over a period of time and got it to a stage where I'm happy with it.

The main tactic I use when driving it through fast corners, such as those at KY3R last night, was to have a really quick lift off the throttle just on turn-in, this would make the rear end a bit loose and you would then get straight back on the power, drive the whole corner feathering the throttle and using the power to steer, the only steering inputs you have to make are corrective ones. I found simply going into fast coners on a balanced throttle would make it understeer massively. This way of driving is fun and it seems to works, and the rear tyres just about managed 4 laps of KY GP Reverse.

The hardest thing about driving this car is, for me, getting it turned in on slow corners where trail braking doesn't have as much of an effect and most of the time I end up entering it completely broadside, or just plowing straight on.

I agree with what JJ72 said, the only reason the Enzo was oversteering was because the driver was purposefully making it do that. Some corners he'd turn in slower then boot it right at the apex. Even if the Enzo was the best handling car in the world, doing that in a car with that much power will cause oversteer.

At no point in that video was the oversteer unexpected, the driver knew exactly where the limits of grip for the rear tyres were and he was just playing with them.

And thanks to the link of the Enzo at the Ring JJ, that was fantastic! Shows the real capabilities of the car.

Driver 1 was one of my all time favourite games. Driv3r was alright, the worst thing was if you tried to use it on the PC with a steering wheel there was a massive dead-zone that you could not get rid of.

Anyway, Tanner's back! I can't wait.

Watched all three BTCC races on the weekend (from my sofa), the first was good, glad Tom O-C managed to hold on to get the win. The third was good from an entertainment point of view, lots of argy-bargy to keep things interesting. Unlucky that Plato got nerfed by Jackson in (I think) the second race, if it wasn't for that he'd be ahead in the Championship now.

I felt the coverage was lacking in replays all day, we never got to see exactly how Plato managed to get so much damage on the front of his Chevy, I can imagine how but we never actually saw it.

Overall it still doesn't seem quite as good as last year, the smaller grid doesn't help, neither does the lack of Turkington, Muller, Jelley, Thompson and Herbert!

He would have just put the clutch down so the wheels were free to rotate backwards without the engine stalling then grabbed a lower gear and got going again. Luck always plays a big part in these saves and he did get lucky but did very well at the same time

I have a feeling F-Duct really isn't what its all cracked up to be if it means loss of downforce as the only track where i can see it fully working would be Monza.

Yes but they only use it on the straights, as on the straights downforce = drag which slows them down. Obviously they don't use it on the corners as they need the downforce there.

The Formula Renault would be a great thrill, however much it's limited, it will be like nothing you've ever driven before. I've done a few laps in a Cayman around Thruxton and it wasn't brilliant, the high-speed handling of the Porsche isn't up to much.

I'd go for the 14 laps in the MX5. They are still one of the best drivers cars available, and by the end of the 14 laps you will have had a good chance to get to know it.
