You know you can edit the files in YourDisk:\blabla\Live For Speed\data\script in order to have some options changed whenever you select a different car?
Might not be exactly what you've asked for, but still...
Anybody have seen this ?
The website is rather "basic" ATM, there's no "contact" links, no info about what electronics are inside, but it looks cool.
I found it on UBI (IL-2 flight sim) forum, but it's not expecially "flight oriented".
Did you try to associate lfs protocol with whatever other "light" program you have (maybe 7-zip, vlc, etc...), just for the sake of experimenting and seeing what happens? Does Opera launch it correctly?
You should be able to see its window behaviour, before the parameters errors show up...of course any other program won't be able to handle lfs protocol the same way LFS does...
Did you post your issue in the LFS bug sub-forum ?
Did you check the correct association between Opera and lfs.exe ?
In FireFox I have these settings in Tools -> Options menu...
I believe there's something similar in Opera too.
Edit: Ah, sorry, I re-read your OP and it looks like Opera is indeed launching LFS, but LFS is minimized...right ?
When I lived in DK, I remember sometimes hanging out at Nyhavn, Copenhagen, and seeing flocks of Svensker (and Norsker maybe, but mostly Svensker) coming in for the weekend, just to do that...having fun and getting drunk, that is.
And yes it was expensive in DK, I can't imagine how much it costs in those other countries...but that's another thread...
Somewhere, on some skinning guide (don't remember where exactly, but maybe it was actually at MasterSkinnerz site) it is strongly advised not to use skins bigger than 1024x1024, if it has to be used ONLINE.
Bigger than that and you get lag on starting grids.
Of course, if you only use it in Single Player mode, there shouldn't be problems, as long as your graphics card can handle it.
