Thanks for your quick updates.
I noticed that now the shift light flickers (forcing it on road cars).
Maybe it's because of new different drawing method, instead of getting the "on" input from LFS ?
I'm having the typical noob_problems...
I opened UDP port 50000 in my router, edited correspondingly Aonio.cfg.txt, but it only shows pilots name with nearly no data...
What else should I do ?
The commands /insim=29999 and /insim 29999 are the same, as far as syntax goes ?
Does it change if I insert the /insim command in the autoexec.lfs file instead of typing it?
I like this new top speed needle, it's really useful to squeeze all the power out when tuning gears/setups.
I have a couple suggestions:
1) make one "summary" post where you clearly list and link all your latest EXEs (800x600/lower res, "shiftup" voice/no voice, etc...).
I feel they're a bit too scattered down the thread.
2) with one of the latest patches Scawen "switched off" the shift light for road cars. It could be nice, when user selects one of those cars, to have some graphics reminding about it...maybe the same big red shift light dimmed in grey or whatever colour...
From Z25 Scawen's post: Shift lights removed from all road cars other than RaceAbout
If you're a demoer you'll soon know you have to turn left (exiting from box), anyway I just launched a DEDI demo server, connected to it and found that there's no arrow showing the direction to turno into.
Nice one!
I am at work now and I didn't try your new release, but...I was thinking it could be nice and useful if this new "max speed" indicator was flashing maybe 2-3 times to "inform" you whenever you reach or max again this stop speed...
I talked once with Mike Stern (very nice guy) in a pub in Rome where he had a gig, I talked with Pat Metheny...
Oh yes, living in Rome, I see the Pope quite frequently
I deleted my account after reading his answer, so I guess he couldn't PM me.
Anyway, you know, I'm 46, and really have had enough of unpolite arrogant people, so he'd better learn how to behave, before regretting what he writes. I think it's clear my intention was peaceful and came from a "shared knowledge" point of view.
He has the link to this thread, he knows where to come if he wants to make his app useful to LFS users (which is what he should want).
But once again, what should I care? It's his "problem".
