Instead of wasting time with your pointless ignorant and catastrophic posts ("compromise their system"...but please !!!), invest some of your time sitting and reading Dev's posts and think about what they wrote, maybe you'll discover that (oh noooo) installer doesn't mess anything up.
I know, it can be difficult, it's going to cost you something, it takes some patience...but maybe you can make it.
Otherwise, since you sound very technical-minded, you can always edit your precious REGISTRY and delete those evil LFS keys by hand, so your system will still be as fast as before, and your boot time will not be decreased by the incredible mess that LFS installer unavoidably caused...
Maybe if there are 40 pages of "users rambling on about how great it is", it means that, in fact, IT IS GREAT, no ?
Scawen said there might be a a few different "levels" of limits for the different car categories, the first of which would be toe and tyre pressure, like most normal road cars. He said something like "the same setup changes you can achieve without changing car parts".
I was thinking it could be nice (but perhaps I'm wrong, and it's just one of those noobish things) to have for each combo something like a few, fixed, not editable "setup templates", a bit like Bob Smith's "Road Going Setups" or "Race Setups", or similar.
In an unrequested attempt to be polite and useful (I couldn't care less about EK's app, since I'm no programmer, but anyway) I registered and posted over at EK's forum just to make him aware that here the "talk" was that his app was incompatible with latest LFS...I thought maybe EK could be somewhat interested in it...how wrong...
He closed my thread saying that if I don't use his app, then I don't have to promote it...
Make your conclusions...
AIs are the first "pilots" each LFSer meets, before going online.
Sometimes racing online can be intimidating, or plain difficult, to the newcomer, so every improvement towards getting more "real" AIs is welcome
Yeah, I must also add my personal spam post to the good feelings in here.
I was thinking today at work, after closely watching all these test patches flowing in the last days, all the people here testing and helping, all this direct communication with the developers themselves...WOW!! That's the way it should be!!
Thanks LFS Team for all your hard relentless work!!
Hi DavidTiger.
Yesterday I noticed for the first time a very "laggy" movement of the needles, turbo pressure and speed were really "jumping" like crazy and were not as smooth as they used to.
I have installed your latest version. IIRC, someone already said this to Erazotropa in some of the old posts here, I will try to find them.
