Copyright law still has to exist in some form though. I've seen people elsewhere say that copyright law should be completely scrapped and it should be a free-for-all, but that's not a concept I can get behind.

EDIT: BTW, some of the co-sponsors of SOPA and Protect IP are pulling their names out. It appears the blackout is actually causing some positive effect.

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :First shakedown for the Lotus test car

Front wing is massive

Overall, I think I like it though. It's definitely something different, and it will be nice to get some variety back in the series.

Quote from Dennis93 :Do you think there will be problems?

Just make sure to mention that the agents are 'the bomb' in a foreign accent, they love that.
Too bad it's so far away... if you ever get the opportunity to race up North, holler. Best of luck though

EDIT: also, since we're talking about American race visits, are any of the Northern US folk or Canadians around here planning on hitting up Sno Drift in Atlanta, MI? First event of Rally America, last weekend of Jan, and usually the only snow rally... though we haven't had any snow as of yet. Which is very strange.

Anyways, if anyone is, drop me a line, I'll be there helping my buddy and his brother out with their Subaru

It's the best way to get suckers to give you money. Just ask televangelists and Bernie Madoff.

Gravity is a theory. Which means it has significant scientific evidence behind it, consistently reproduceable results, and scientists have an extremely high confidence that the results will continue to be true in the future.

What you have here is a hypothesis. Any crackpot can make up a hypothesis. I hypothesize that mutant alien space creatures came down in a space ship crash, ate the insides of humans, and inhabit their flesh, walking around. They are only identifiable by their intense desire for sugar water and oddly deep voice.

That doesn't make it true. The burden of proof then lies upon me to prove it. Others have to be able to reproduce my findings, and significant scientific evidence would have to pile up, like if people managed to escape the memory wipe flashy thing from the men in black suits, and had video evidence of the creatures' swath of destruction... but that hasn't happened, so it's still just a hypothesis. If, and only if, pretty much every scientist is sure it's true, does it get to be a theory.

Cold Fusion is a hypothesis, one which has not proven to be highly reproduceable. And a hypothesis it will stay until it is fully understood and proven.

As for the E-Cat... my scam-dar is going off hardcore. Anyone would be a sucker to invest in that thing until he actually proves it works.

12 cars within a second in GT , 25 within 2...New prototypes... I might explode from having to wait for this race. :banghead:

And then I have to wait until June to see them in person. Not that I'm complaining about that

Wooo! I'm going to Belle Isle GP this year

My Christmas present from my dad was 2 tickets right on pit straight (one for him, one for me), and 2 day paddock passes.

Means I will also see the Grand-Am, World Challenge, and Indy Lights races while I'm there. Ballin'.

Quote from TFalke55 :that's Eastern Europe

Oh shit. duh. That'll teach me not to post 3 seconds after I wake up, when I'm still incoherent.

But Portugal is. And Spain...

Seems odd to have races in Austria and Hungary, and Spain and Portugal, but not one up north in Netherlands or in England.

Quote from UncleBenny : just wish it wasn't in January with the possibility of it being cold out.

It's in Florida, what are the chances of it actually being cold out? If it was 50 in January, I'd be wearing shorts, and I don't think it even gets that cold down there.

Quote from doyal :The above cars look great, if not quite similar. Was this intended? (high contrasting sharp lines, not much smoothness)

I know nothing about marketing/liveries, so it has probably been done to be "eye popping" & appealing which no doubt works..

I think that's pretty much down to JJ's own particular style.

It's also a much more Asian look than what you're probably used to seeing in Europe, there are obviously large cultural differences, which translate into different designs being put on cars.

I especially like the design on the RX8, and I think i'd like it even more in different colors... never been a huge fan of white, red, black.

Quote from FPVaaron :consumption of the meat.

That's what these animals had the potential to do - to some unsuspecting human. Someone camping in the countryside could have been caught completely unawares and attacked by a starving lion or a tiger... they would be completely ****ed.

So then, what else could they have done that you think would have been a better way to deal with the situation?

anttt, a random guy on the internet, from the other side of an ocean, says days after the fact that he thinks something was poorly dealt with, with minimal information.

Jack Hanna, one of the most respected animal experts in the world, who was on the scene helping make the decision to shoot the animals, says that unfortunately there was nothing else to do.

hmmm... who am I going to believe? but uhh thanks for your incredibly well informed assessment of the situation.

Quote from Fuse5 :The only thing i found from that list thats good is Burial - Archangel
Burial for president tbh.

I was trying to get a huge variety of things, not necessarily my absolute favorites. Trying to show that there was a huge variety in the genre. It makes sense that people may only like 1 or 2 songs on that list.

Personally, I listen to stuff like you posted when I'm doing homework or just chilling, and the more heavy/upbeat/poppy stuff when I'm in the mood to rage. But I still can't stand the stuff that is just high pitched screechy noises.

and Eskmo - Cloudlight is one of my favorites... some other good songs you have there.
