Go Pro cameras were everywhere at the rally I was at this weekend too... we watched some of the stage video with the co-driver and crew that were staying in the same place as us. The quality was pretty awesome. I'm a fan.
The organizers had some of them set up on the edges of the snow drifts to catch the cars whizzing by... people had them in the crowds, some on poles that they could stick out to get closer.
They really seem to have a hold on the action camera market now. They are everywhere, and not even just in racing.

No, the Cruzes are the old regulations, besides, I don't think that's legal in either set of regs.
Oh my gawd that livery is... quite the sight. It's like they let a 8 year old design it in paint, only using the default colors. 
I don't quite know how he manages all of that so well... unlike Zanardi, he can't use a prosthetic leg to brake IIRC. Zanardi was unable to race until they worked the system out with the prosthetic, because of the downshift issue. I'm not sure how Watt is managing it.
Right handle appears to be upshifting, left handle seems to be brake. Throttle is left hand, presumably. Is there a secondary system for his left hand that allows him to downshift?

I have an irrational hatred of large sedans. They just feel bloated, no matter what designers do. I seriously can't think of a single one that I like
You won't even notice it in a year. Recent cars seem to have been moving towards larger grille areas, your eyes and design sense will likely adjust in time.

Those lights are terribly ugly. I suppose they will be rather functional though, and that's really all that matters
Awww ****ing hell. Just realized I'm going to be out in the woods watching rally all weekend, so I won't see the race... I was looking forward to it so much too

If Congress were to get a 2/3 majority, it wouldn't matter what Obama thought. I don't think that will happen since 6 co-sponsors pulled out yesterday, but it technically could still be passed over his objection.
The next discussion if SOPA is dead becomes the OPEN act that has been put forth as an alternative. I haven't read that one yet to have a real opinion of it.
They've all been arrested now. 17 year old is being charged as an adult, others are younger and being charged as juveniles. Also, it didn't appear to be gang-related, it was just that they wanted to beat the crap out of someone.
